According to scientists, the 494-kg spacecraft can fall within 52 degrees north or south of the equator. This puts several regions in danger. There is a considerable portion of the ocean in the region, but that doesn't diminish the fact that entire countries are at risk of having an uncontrolled spacecraft crash on their land.

The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the Kosmos 482 lander, in all likelihood, will fall back in one piece. Several man-made objects fall back to Earth. However, they mostly disintegrate in the atmosphere.

The problem with Kosmos 482 is that it was built to endure the tough environment of Venus. So there is a high chance it might not break up at all after it enters Earth's atmosphere.

Space.com quoted Koichi Ijichi, one of the researchers, as saying, &ldquo;It will be a small satellite, about 180 kilograms [400 pounds], that will transmit about 1 kilowatt of power from an altitude of 400 kilometres." Koichi is also an advisor at Japan Space Systems (JSS).

Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost lander is on the moon and is busy at work. One of the payloads it carried has successfully drilled into the lunar surface and collected and transferred the soil. This was touted to be one of the most exciting experiments to be carried out by one of the lander's Ghostriders.
Detailing the activity, Firefly shared on X, "Lunar PlanetVac for example successfully collected, transferred, and sorted lunar soil from the Moon using pressurized nitrogen gas. Congrats to the @HB_Robotics and NASA team!"

<h2>Why is space docking so complicated?</h2>
 When a chaser spacecraft is approaching the target spacecraft, the relative velocity between the two (the difference in velocity between the two) and the distance between the two must be controlled very carefully. If the relative velocity is too high, the docking attempt can fail, causing damage or collisions. If it is too low, it may take too long to complete the approach, which could lead to fuel inefficiencies or mission delays.
When the spacecraft dock, their relative velocity must be near-zero. This means that the two spacecraft must be moving at the same velocity and in the same direction at the time of docking to ensure a smooth mechanical connection without any impact forces. This requires careful coordination and manoeuvring, all done fully autonomously.

As this is India&rsquo;s maiden docking mission, ISRO is predominantly relying upon the natural drift of the satellites to bring them closer, which is why it is a time consuming process. In 2012, it was found that Kepler-52, the Sun-like yellow dwarf star has three exoplanets in its orbit. Each of those exoplanets turned out to be with a density higher than cotton candy. This led to putting them in a category called super puff world.&nbsp;

Now reports came that scientists have found a fourth one in the category.&nbsp;

Jessica Libby-Roberts, a planetary scientist at Pennsylvania State University, said in a statement, "Super puff planets are fairly rare, and when they do occur, they tend to be the only one in a planetary system."&nbsp;

She further reported adding, "If trying to explain how three super puffs formed in one system wasn't challenging enough, now we have to explain a fourth planet, whether it's a super puff or not. And we can't rule out additional planets in the system either."

It was 2019 when the strange nature of the three exoplanets orbiting Kepler-51 was established and observations were made by astronomers to create measurements of the radii and masses of the exoplanets. The acquired measurements were used to calculate their densities, which were found to be less than 0.1 grams per cubic centimetre.&nbsp;

When a team of astronomers co-led by Libby-Roberts and Kento Masuda of Osaka University set out to catch one of the discovered exoplanets, they found that there might be more exoplanets than do not get caught in the eyes.&nbsp;

The team then further pored out data on transit timings obtained by NASA's planet-hunting telescope TESS, and observations from several ground-based telescopes as well.&nbsp;

After they carefully went back to their data to ensure no errors were made, the conclusion said there was an unseen exoplanet.&nbsp;

The newly found fourth exoplanet will be named Kepler-51e as the other previous found were named Kepler-51b, Kepler-51c, and Kepler-51d.&nbsp;

Masudsa explained, "We conducted what is called a 'brute force' search, testing out many different combinations of planet properties to find the four-planet model that explains all of the transit data gathered over the past 14 years."&nbsp;

She further said, "We found that the signal is best explained if Kepler-51e has a mass similar to the other three planets and follows a fairly circular orbit of about 264 days – something we would expect based on other planetary systems. Other possible solutions we found involve a more massive planet on a wider orbit, though we think these are less likely."

Months later, in March, the Voyager engineering team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California confirmed that the "issue was tied to one of the spacecraft's three onboard computers, called the flight data subsystem (FDS)."

"The FDS is responsible for packaging the science and engineering data before it's sent to Earth," reports NASA.

They found that a single chip responsible for storing a portion of the FDS memory wasn't working.

Now, NASA scientists have devised an audacious workaround the ageing spacecraft's faulty chip — they rewrote the corrupted software from scratch and relocated it piecemeal into unaffected areas of the probe's computer memory.

The team started their journey towards finding a possible solution by "singling out the code responsible for packaging the spacecraft's engineering data," and sending "it to its new location in the FDS memory on April 18."

According to NASA, "a radio signal takes about 22 ½ hours to reach Voyager 1, which is over 15 billion miles (24 billion kilometres) from Earth, and another 22 ½ hours for a signal to come back to Earth."

"When the mission flight team heard back from the spacecraft on April 20, they saw that the modification worked: For the first time in five months, they have been able to check the health and status of the spacecraft," added the space agency.

Although old, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 are one of humanity's greatest achievements. The twin voyager spacecraft "are the longest-running and most distant spacecraft in history."

Space Force, as per an announcement made by the Space Systems Command (SSC) on Thursday (Apr 11) has signed contracts with two private space companies for its mission codenamed 'Victus Haze' that is slated to happen by no later than fall of the year 2025.

As per the Space Systems Command, it has signed contracts with Rocket Lab National Security and True Anomaly for providing space vehicles capable of rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO), as well as command and control centers, to support mission 'Victus Haze'.

These space vehicles — True Anamoly's 'the Jackal' and an unnamed vehicle from Rocket Lab, "will demonstrate, under operationally realistic conditions, US&nbsp;Space&nbsp;Force’s ability to respond to irresponsible behavior on orbit."&nbsp;

As per a Space Force statement, Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) has awarded a $32 million contract to Rocket Lab National Security. "SpaceWERX will award a contract to True Anomaly," it added.

The mission will require a total of $$60 million, of which the government will fund $30 million, while the remaining $30 million, True Anomaly will leverage from internal private capital.&nbsp;

"The commercial space industry is advancing at an unprecedented pace that will provide the Space Force additional options to quickly respond to adversary aggression," said Lt. Col. MacKenzie Birchenough, SSC's materiel leader for Space Safari.&nbsp;

These 'sneezes' or eruptions by baby stars or 'protostars' are an important part of their development, and can reveal a lot about the star. Scientists may also be able to determine whether the star will be surrounded by planets in future or not. The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) was used by the researchers to explore the gas and dust disks that surround baby stars which collapse to give birth to planets. These disks are called "protostellar disks." Why do baby star sneeze? When dense and cool patches of material gather in massive clouds of interstellar gas and dust, known as stellar nurseries, they gain mass and collapse to give a star to the cosmos. Every protostar is surrounded by a protostellar disk of matter. "These structures are perpetually penetrated by magnetic fields, which brings with it magnetic flux. However, if all this magnetic flux were retained as the star developed, it would generate magnetic fields many orders of magnitude stronger than those observed in any known protostar," team leader and Kyushu University scientist Kazui Tokada said in a statement. The team observed MC 27, a stellar nursery located approximately 450 light-years from Earth, using the ALMA array, a collection of 66 high-precision radio telescopes constructed 5,000 metres above sea level in northern Chile. "As we analysed our data, we found something quite unexpected. There were these 'spike-like' structures extending a few astronomical units from the protostellar disk. As we dug in deeper, we found that these were spikes of expelled magnetic flux, dust, and gas," Kazui Tokada added. "This is a phenomenon called 'interchange instability' where instabilities in the magnetic field react with the different densities of the gases in the protostellar disk, resulting in an outward expelling of magnetic flux. We dubbed this a baby star's 'sneeze' as it reminded us of when we expel dust and air at high speeds," he explained.

India’s maiden sun mission was launched on September 2 from the second launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.&nbsp;

Aditya-L1 is equipped with seven scientific payloads developed indigenously by the ISRO and various national research laboratories. Apart from IUCAA, the researchers at&nbsp;the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) have also contributed to developing the payloads.

NASA is calling out the ones who wish to send their names&nbsp;to deep space beyond Mars.

The American space agency in a unique move is giving a chance to all the space enthusiasts to add their name to its Europa clipper.

The names will be added to a microchip that will ride aboard the spacecraft as it explores Jupiter’s moon Europa.

The spacecraft will make the 1.8 billion-mile journey to explore the ringed planet's moon.

The campaign, which is dubbed “Message in a Bottle” by NASA is only six weeks away as it closes at 11:59 pm EST, Dec 31, 2023.

As per the space agency's official website, since the beginning of the campaign, nearly 700,000 names have been submitted.

The microchip, which will be attached to a metal plate, will be engraved with the original poem “In Praise of Mystery,” penned by US Poet Laureate Ada Limón to celebrate the mission.&nbsp;

The poem and the names will ride on the exterior of the spacecraft and will be like a message in a bottle as they make about 50 close flybys of the ocean world.

"The mission will log a half-billion miles (800 million kilometres) during these orbits as the spacecraft’s payload of science instruments gathers data on Europa’s subsurface ocean, icy crust, and atmosphere to determine if the moon could support life," said NASA's official website.

After the assembly of Europa Clipper is completed at JPL, the orbiter will be shipped to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida in preparation for its October 2024 launch.&nbsp;

Were you visited by the little green men? Was someone you know at the receiving end of an extraterrestrial probe? If yes, you may soon be able to report such a (mis)&nbsp;happening online to the US Pentagon.

This could be done via an online reporting tool that went live on Tuesday (Oct 31). However, there's a catch.

For now, this secure form is available only to current or former federal employees or those "with direct knowledge of US government programs or activities related to UAP dating back to 1945", The Guardian said in a report.

On the website, it says that Aaro "is intended as an initial point of contact … it is not intended for conveying potentially sensitive or classified information".

NASA's new methane detection tool will help detect 'super-emitters' from space

Amid the surge of Covid-19 cases along with other mutated variants, India has reported the presence of a `double mutant` coronavirus variant, triggering fear among many. 
 
However, health experts on Friday said that the double mutant variant may be less dangerous than expected as the most vulnerable patients are having only mild illnesses. 
 
The experts emphasised that as per the current evidence, new variants are observed from few states. But, details about its epidemiology are yet to be known.

"There is no need to panic about the strains and mutation as it`s a completely natural and unavoidable process. Covid appropriate behaviour and accepting vaccines remains the solution for any strain," Harshal R Salve, Associate Professor at Centre for Community Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, told IANS. 
 
Also, they are hopeful that the present vaccines available may help us protect against the recently reported variant too. 
 
"There is a strong possibility that the vaccine may be effective in protecting against a new variant," said Neha Gupta, Infectious Diseases Specialist at Medanta - The Medicity Gurgaon. 
 
This week, the Union Health Ministry said that a total of 771 variants of concerns (VOCs) have been detected in a total of 10,787 positive samples shared by the states and union territories, including a new double mutant variant. 
 
These include 736 samples positive for viruses of the UK (B.1.1.7) lineage, 34 samples of the South African (B.1.351) lineage and one sample of the Brazilian (P.1) lineage. 
 
"Though VOCs and a new double mutant variant have been found in India, these have not been detected in numbers sufficient to either establish or direct relationship or explain the rapid increase in cases in some states," the Health Ministry said. 
 
The government said that an analysis of the samples collected from Maharashtra showed "an increase in the fraction of samples with the E484Q and L452R mutations" compared with December last year. 
 
"Such (double) mutations confer immune escape and increased infectivity," the health ministry said in a statement. 
 
These mutations have been found in about 15-20 per cent of samples and do not match any previously catalogued VOCs. 
 
These have been categorised as VOCs but require the same epidemiological and public health response of `increased testing, comprehensive tracking of close contacts, prompt isolation of positive cases and contacts as well as treatment as per National Treatment Protocol" by the states and Union Territories, according to the Health Ministry. 
 
According to Jeremy Kamil, a virologist at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport in the US, the E484Q is similar to E484K -- a mutation seen in the B.1.351 (South Africa) and P.1 (Brazil) variants, the BBC reported on Thursday. 
 
India reported 59,118 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day spike since October 2020, taking the total tally to 1,18,46,652 on Friday. Cases have been increasing by leaps and bounds for the past two weeks. 
 
With the death of 257 people in the last 24 hours, the fatality toll has reached 1,60,949 in India. The active caseload in the country has mounted to 4,21,066.

The interplanetary message called "Beacon in the Galaxy" contains a vast range of information, including basic arithmetic and physics principles on communication, digital photographs of the human form, DNA elements, and a time-stamped depiction of the solar system, Earth's system. It concludes with an invitation to the aliens to respond by beaming back a response.

The quest to talk to the green little men actually started more than a century ago. It started with an Austrian named Joseph Johann Von Littrow. If you're wondering how did a 19th-century astronomer want to contact aliens, surely they didn't have the technology back then...you're right.

They didn't have the technology, what Von Littrow proposed was something far different. He wanted to burn the Sahara desert. His plan was to dig massive trenches of geometric patterns in the Sahara, fill them with Kerosene oil and let it burn.

The idea was to have that huge blaze serve as a beacon announcing 'we are here'.

Now, a NASA led team of international scientists are once again planning to satiate this curiosity. They have developed a binary-coded message that they propose beaming out across the galaxy, in the hopes of finally establishing contact with aliens.

"Beacon in the Galaxy," an interstellar message, contains a wide variety of information: basic concepts in math and physics on communication, digital images of the human form, elements of DNA, a time-stamped depiction of the solar system, and Earth’s system. It ends with an invitation for the aliens to beam back a reply.

In an interesting twist, the scientists say the position of the planet is incorporated in hopes of not only receiving a message from aliens but also receiving a physical vehicle to Earth at "some point in the future".

Dr Jonathan Jiang of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory is heading the experiment. The group of researchers plans to broadcast the message right into the heart of the Milky Way, using the Seti Institute’s Allen Telescope Array in California and the Chinese 500-metre Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope.

According to the paper, a future message could include additional frequencies of greater complexity, incorporating major pieces of music such as Beethoven's, Mozart's, or Bach's symphonies.

Experts believe it is very unlikely that an intelligent civilisation will intercept the message, and even if it happens, establishing an intelligent, fruitful conversation can prove challenging since it will take tens of thousands of years for the message to reach its intended target.

Another possibility is that the aliens might not understand the message and consider it gibberish.

And then there are other concerns…What if we somehow invite the wrath of civilisations far superior to ours?

Genius professor Stephen Hawking while speaking to Discovery Channel during the filming of a documentary, warned that we need to refrain from trying to contact aliens or we just might end up with the kind of attention we regret.

“We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.”&nbsp;

According to him, meeting aliens is similar to Christopher Columbus meeting Native Americans: “That didn’t turn out so well.”

NASA to beam out Earth's location into space. Experts warn that it just might invite an alien invasion!

Scientists are reporting a glow of X-Ray after a mega collision between two neutron stars. The strange glow is visible more than three years after the collision that resulted in what is called kilonova explosion. This X-Ray glow has been called "uncharted territory" by scientists.

It is being put for that the glow may have resulted from shockwave of the collision slamming into dust present in this region of space. Another theory is that the glow &nbsp;is generated due to ejecta of the explosion falling back into the new object, most likely a black hole

"We have entered uncharted territory here in studying the aftermath of a neutron star merger," said Northwestern’s Aprajita Hajela, who led the new study. “We are looking at something new and extraordinary for the very first time. This gives us an opportunity to study and understand new physical processes, which have not before been observed.”

The merger of the neutron stars led to a massive explosion. This explosion, called a kilonova blast is 1000 times brighter than a classical nova.

Using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, astronomers observed X-ray emissions from a jet moving very close to the speed of light produced by the neutron star merger. Starting in early 2018, the jet’s X-ray emission steadily faded as the jet continued to slow and expand. Hajela and her team then noticed from March 2020 until the end of 2020, the decline in brightness stopped, and the X-ray emission was approximately constant in brightness

Afterglow of a possible kilonova explosion creates a buzz

An asteroid, which is bigger than world’s tallest building, will pass ‘near’ Earth on February 1. &nbsp;&nbsp;

There is absolutely no need to worry as the Asteroid 7482, which is near-Earth object, is "very well-known and has been studied for decades" by NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office. &nbsp;

An object, which comes within 30 million miles of Earth, gets classified as a near-Earth object. &nbsp;&nbsp;

It is also known as 1194 PC1 in NASA's asteroid database. NASA said, "Rest assured, 1994 PC1 will safely fly past our planet 1.2 million miles away." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dr Susanna Kohler of American Astronomical Society, said, "One of the really cool things about a close-passing rock, like Asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1) is being able to watch as it soars past. &nbsp;

"There are a tonnes of asteroids and comets out there, but the majority are so far away that we can’t see their motion in real-time. The fact that this one’s coming so close provides a unique opportunity to actually watch it move across the sky," added Kohler. &nbsp;

Chang'e-5 was an unmanned mission consisting of a robotic lander that landed on the near side of the moon (the side facing Earth) in December 2020.

One of the mission goals of Chang'e-5 was to look for evidence of the moon's youngest volcanic eruptions.

1.7 kilograms of lunar rocks were returned to Earth, the first samples from the Moon collected since 1976 with the Soviet Union's Luna 24 mission.

The number of impact craters on the lunar surface has previously been used to predict the age of volcanic rocks on the Moon, but it is impossible to confirm without samples to examine.

At the Shrimp centre in Beijing, China, the samples were analyzed using a sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe instrument. Following analysis,&nbsp;scientists determined that these lava eruptions are 1.97 billion years old, which is a billion years younger than previously dated lava from the Moon.

What is the significance of Chang'e-5 less than 2 billion years old lunar samples?

To attain total self-reliance in the launch of heavy satellites (weighing above 4 tonnes) and to meet future demands, the Indian Space Research Organization is working on a fleet of five new rockets. Speaking at a virtual event organised by ISRO and CII, N Sudheer Kumar, Director, Capacity Building Programme Office, ISRO, revealed that variants of this new fleet of heavy-lift rockets would be able to place a payload weighing anywhere between 4.9 tonnes and over 16 tonnes in the tonne synchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). This is an enormous improvement over the current maximum lift capability of 4 tons that the GSLV Mk3 rocket has performed to GTO.&nbsp;

GTO is an intermediary orbit (180km at its closest point to the Earth and 36,000km at its farthest point from the Earth) into which heavy satellites are launched by rockets. After being placed in GTO, the satellites use their onboard propulsion to reach a circular orbit 36,000 km above the earth (it is at the same distance from the earth at any given point of time). Being in the 36,000km circular orbit (also known as Geostationary or GSO orbit) allows for communication and monitoring of a large portion of the Earth. three satellites in GSO orbit are capable of covering nearly the entire globe.

According to Kumar, the work to upgrade the lift capability of GSLV Mk3 to 7.5 tonnes to GTO, is on the verge of being concluded. This major upgrade to India’s rocket is being made possible owing to the development of two kinds of rocket engines: a semi-cryogenic engine that burns a special variant of kerosene (dubbed ISROsene) and liquid oxygen; and a cryogenic engine that burns a mixture of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. The said semi-cryogenic engine stage is dubbed as the SC120, and the upgraded cryogenic engine stage is dubbed as the C32. As per ISRO’s naming convention for rocket stages, the letter (s) refers to the type of engine fuel-Solid (S), Liquid (L), Semi-cryogenic (SC) and Cryogenic (C) and the accompanying number refers to the mass (in tonnes) of propellant carried. Simply put, a rocket is a combination of multiple engines (stages) that are vertically stacked.&nbsp;

"Soon the stage will be inducted into the rocket, then we will not depend on foreign sources for the launch of heavy communication satellites (weighing over 4 or 5 tonnes)," Kumar said. Regarding ISRO’s ongoing projects, he outlined that work was underway on the full-scale model of the Reusable Launch Vehicle Technology Demonstrator (RLV-TD), besides work to scale up the proto-model of the air-breathing engine. For ISRO, these are crucial technologies to master to develop a fully reusable space vehicle dubbed the "TSTO," or Two Stage to Orbit.&nbsp;

The Director of ISRO’s CBPO also shared the configuration of the fleet of five heavy-lift rockets that were in their project report stage. The configurations refer to new and more powerful rocket stages-SC400 semi-cryogenic stage, the C27 cryogenic stage, and S250 solid rocket booster. Simply put, depending on the type of mission, payload to be lifted and rocket required, different variants of engines would be stacked vertically to run a relay race to space. Each stage would detach from the rocket after propelling the rocket to a certain altitude and speed, then the next engine would take over. ISRO’s new series of heavy-lift rockets to carry between 5-16 tonnes to GTO

On September 15, billionaire Jared Isaacman and his crew would be leaving Earth in the first crewed space mission into the orbit with no professional astronauts on board SpaceX Dragon capsule.

The mission, dubbed as ‘Inspiration4’, will lift off from NASA’s Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida and head on a three-day journey around Earth.

Apart from Issacman, the founder of Shift4 Payments, the mission will have three civilians.

Since none of the four participants has any prior formal astronaut training, the flight has been called the first “all civilian” space mission

Before Elon Musk’s Space X, two other billionaires— Branson’s Virgin Galactic and Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin—sent civilians on suborbital flights that lasted only for a few minutes.

As the race to reach space seems to be high on the agenda of the billionaires, let’s look at what we know so far about the mission and the crew members.

'Inspiration4' mission

Inspiration4 is a private mission which will be chartered by Jared Isaacman, the billionaire founder of Shift4 Payments. He will be joined&nbsp;by Hayley Arceneaux, Sian Proctor and Chris Sembroski.

“The Inspiration4 crew will travel across a low earth orbit on a multi-day journey that will continually eclipse more than 90 per cent of the earth’s population,” the company said in a statement.

But the primary purpose of Inspiration4, the site states, is to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and begin “a new era for human spaceflight and exploration.”

Through the Inspiration4 mission, Isaacman seeks to raise more than $200 million for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a pediatric cancer research hospital that does not charge the families of children for their treatment. Isaacman has pledged $100 million out of his own pocket.

Jared Isaacman is a 38-year-old billionaire who dropped out of high school at the age of 16 and then founded a payments technology company. He is an accomplished jet pilot and is rated to fly commercial and military aircraft. In 2011, Isaacman co-founded Draken International to train pilots for the US Armed Forces.

Hayley Arceneaux is a physician and works at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She will serve as medical officer for the flight.

Sian Proctor is a geology professor, science communicator, and commercial astronaut. Her father worked at the NASA tracking station during the Apollo missions. She’s an analog astronaut (a person who conducts activities in simulated space conditions). &nbsp;She will be the pilot of the Inspiration4 mission.

Chris Sembroski is a 38-year-old data engineer and Air Force veteran. He has conducted simulated space shuttle missions as a US Space Counselor and then served in the US Air Force, maintaining a fleet of ICBMs before leaving active duty in 2007. Sembroski has a BS in Professional Aeronautics.

Spacecraft

The mission will use the Crew Dragon Resilience capsule. This will be the second flight of the spacecraft, which first flew on the SpaceX Crew-1mission and splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico on May 2, 2021.

SpaceX has also installed a custom camera inside the retractable nosecone covering the cupola, which once in orbit will be able to take pictures of the four astronauts, Earth, space, and the stars.

Mission’s purpose

During the three-day period, the crew will perform try to find how space affects the human body. Flying at 17,000 kilometres per hour, the crew will collaborate with SpaceX, the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) at Baylor College of Medicine and investigators at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Isaacman said, “The crew of Inspiration4 is eager to use our mission to help make a better future for those who will launch in the years and decades to come.”

“We are proud that our flight will help influence all those who will travel after us and look forward to seeing how this mission will help shape the beginning of a new era for space exploration," he added.

SpaceX will also collect environmental and biomedical data as well as biological samples like blood from the crew before, during and after the mission, which will be studied for&nbsp;future crew missions that SpaceX has in the pipeline.

Inspiration4: What we know so far about SpaceX’s first 'all civilian' space mission

India and&nbsp;France are soon set to launch Space Security Dialogue&nbsp;at the heart of which is protecting space assets like satellites.

The idea was discussed during French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian's India visit in April and&nbsp;the visit of the head of France's newly created Space Command&nbsp;Michel Friedling in March.

Friedling had visited India just a week after Aster X.

Aster X was space military exercises conducted by France which was the first-ever in Europe. American&nbsp;and&nbsp;Germany also took part in the exercise. The space dialogue is&nbsp;the first France is establishing with any country in Asia.

The development comes even as space is seen as the next frontier of militarisation. In 2019, 2000 satellites were&nbsp;in space, key for communication and&nbsp;other purposes. The US has its space force and&nbsp;several countries like India, Russia, China have anti-satellite weapons.

Space cooperation has been part of the conversation between the two&nbsp;countries. During the visit of French President&nbsp; Emmanuel Macron to India in 2018,&nbsp; "India-France Joint Vision for Space Cooperation” was issued. During the April visit of foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, he went to the ISRO office in Bengaluru and&nbsp;an agreement was signed on cooperation in India’s first human space mission -&nbsp;&nbsp;Gaganyaan.

Both India, France have a rich history of cooperation in the field of space&nbsp;since the&nbsp;1960s with the construction of Sriharikota launch-pad with French technical&nbsp;assistance.

Scientists from Western Sydney University and CSIRO found dancing ghosts deep in the cosmos as part of the first deep sky search utilising CSIRO's ASKAP (Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder) radio telescope.

Winds from two active supermassive black holes at a distance of approximately a billion light-years are producing them, according to scientists.

PKS 2130-538 is the name given to them, and nothing is known about them.

While the 'ghosts' and the two radio galaxies assumed to be responsible for their creation have been spotted previously, none have been caught in such detail.&nbsp;

As a result, the finding was claimed to have been accepted for publication in the Australian Astronomical Society's publications (PASA).

He says that it is one of several that have been provided after extensive research.

Ray Norris, of Western Sydney University and CSIRO, the study's principal author, stated that it came as a complete surprise to the EMU team.&nbsp;

The most well-known radio sources are active supermassive black holes at galaxies' cores.

This is because material is channelled around the perimeter of the event horizon via magnetic field lines and blasted away from the poles in the form of radio-loud jets as these black holes consume stuff.&nbsp;
