Two properties belonging to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami were searched Monday by federal Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

It’s not clear whether Combs was the target of the investigation. The officials were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

In a statement, Homeland Security Investigations said it “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”

A spokesperson for the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan declined to comment.

Messages to Combs’ lawyers and other representatives seeking comment were not immediately returned.

A police line was set up around the Los Angeles house in the wealthy Holmby Hills neighbourhood near Beverly Hills. Helicopter video from KABC-TV showed a group of agents with vests that indicated they were from Homeland Security Investigations gathered in the home’s backyard near the pool. A command post was set up outside the house and agents were still entering and leaving hours after the search began.

There have been several sexual assault lawsuits filed against Combs in recent months.

In February a music producer filed a lawsuit alleging Combs coerced him to solicit prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with them. Combs’ attorney Shawn Holley has said of those allegations that “we have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies.”

Combs’ former protege and girlfriend, the R&amp;B singer Cassie, sued him in November alleging years of sexual abuse, including rape. The lawsuit said he forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed them. The suit was settled the day after it was filed.

Another of Combs’ accusers was a woman who said the rap producer raped her two decades ago when she was 17.

The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused unless they come forward publicly as Cassie did.

Combs had said in a December statement, “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”

Douglas Wigdor, an attorney who represents Cassie and another woman who sued Combs, said in a statement Monday, “Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”

It is not clear whether the search is related to any of the allegations raised in the lawsuits.

Combs is among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades. Formerly known as Puff Daddy, he built one of hip-hop’s biggest empires, blazing a trail with several entities attached to his famous name. He is the founder of Bad Boy Records and a three-time Grammy winner who has worked with a slew of top-tier artists including Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Usher, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and 112.

Combs created the fashion clothing line Sean John, launched the Revolt TV channel with a focus on music, and produced the reality show “Making the Band” for MTV.

His latest album, “The Love Album - Off the Grid,” was released last year days after Combs was honoured at the MTV VMAs. It was nominated for best progressive R&amp;B album at February’s Grammy Awards, which the rapper-mogul did not attend.

The entertainment industry has been beset with a steady stream of career-ending sexual misconduct allegations in the years since stories about movie mogul Harvey Weinstein spawned the #MeToo movement in 2017. Weinstein and “That ’70s Show” star Danny Masterson are each serving prison sentences after rape convictions. Dozens of civil lawsuits have been filed against prominent figures.

The music industry has not faced a reckoning to the same degree, but singer and producer R. Kelly is serving a prison sentence for sexually abusing young fans, seven women have sued hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons alleging he raped them and two women have sued Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler alleging sexual assault.

Weinstein, Masterson and Kelly are appealing their convictions, and Simmons has denied all of the allegations against him. One lawsuit against Tyler has been dismissed and he is contesting the other.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' private plane tracked to Antigua amid federal raids on his properties: Reports

Amidst swirling rumours and speculation about his whereabouts, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, the American record producer and rapper, was recently seen at Miami airport, dispelling earlier reports that he had fled the country. The video, taken hours after Homeland Security helicopters descended on his multi-million dollar properties, showed Combs dressed in dark blue sweatpants and an oversized white T-shirt, looking visibly stressed.

The footage contradicts earlier reports that suggested he had left the United States, with his private jet being spotted landing in the Caribbean, sparking speculation about a possible escape to Cape Verde.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs spotted at Miami airport amid federal raids on his homes

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a series of civil lawsuits alleging a range of abusive behaviours, including sexual harassment, rape, nonconsensual pornography, and sex trafficking. The legal saga began in November 2023 when singer Cassie Ventura, Combs' former partner, filed a federal lawsuit alleging a pattern of physical and sexual abuse throughout their relationship.

Ventura claimed Combs controlled her life, subjected her to violent beatings, and forced her to have sex with other men while he watched and recorded. She also accused him of raping her in 2018. The lawsuit was settled within a day, with both parties agreeing to undisclosed terms.

Following Ventura's lawsuit, three more women and one man came forward with similar allegations against Combs. Liza Gardner accused Combs of sexually assaulting her in 1990 or 1991, while Joi Dickerson-Neal alleged he drugged and assaulted her in 1991.

Another anonymous woman, referred to as Jane Doe, accused Combs and his associates of gang-raping her in 2003 when she was 17 years old. Additionally, producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones accused Combs of sexual harassment, drugging, and threatening him.

Combs has denied all the accusations, calling them baseless and outrageous. His attorney, Benjamin Brafman, stated that the lawsuits aimed to tarnish Combs' reputation and were motivated by financial gain. Despite the denials, the allegations have had repercussions for Combs. He temporarily stepped down as chairman of Revolt, the media company he founded, and a reality show featuring him and his family was scrapped.

The situation escalated on March 25, when federal agents raided Combs' properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. The raids were reportedly connected to the civil lawsuits against him, although Combs has not been criminally charged. The outcome of the investigation and the lawsuits remains to be seen as the legal battle continues to unfold.

All the major allegations against rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs

More trouble for Sean “Diddy” Combs as after a string of lawsuits from former associates, yet another former employee has filed a sexual assault suit against him.&nbsp;

This time, not a woman but a man has filed a suit against Sean. This makes it the&nbsp;fifth sexual assault case against him.&nbsp;

Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed the suit against Combs in the Southern District of New York alleging that Sean “Diddy” Combs made unwanted sexual advances and forced him to hire sex workers and engage in relations with them.

Jones is out seeking $30 million in damages. The suit lists people close to the mogul who allegedly&nbsp;failed to dissuade him from indulging in such activities. In the suit, Rodney Jones names Sean Combs’ son, Justin;&nbsp;his chief of staff,&nbsp;Kristina Khorram;&nbsp;Universal Music Group CEO, Lucian Grainge;&nbsp;former Motown Records CEO, Ethiopia Habtemariam,&nbsp;and numerous record labels.&nbsp;

Jones says that they all basically worked together with Combs in a “RICO enterprise”, alleging that they “failed to adequately monitor, warn, or supervise” his actions.

As reported by Variety, Rodney who produced six songs on the rapper’s Grammy-nominated The Love Album: Off the Grid mentions all things Sean indulged in. He claims that Sean Combs acquired, used, and distributed ecstasy, cocaine, and other illicit drugs; displayed illegal firearms; and laced alcoholic beverages provided to minors and sex workers at his various homes, among other allegations.&nbsp;

The suit also redacts the names of a rapper and an R&amp;B singer who “[consorted] with underage girls and sex workers.”

Rodney also detailed sexual attacks on him by Sean and his associates. He claimed that he stayed with the music mogul from Sept&nbsp;2022 through Nov&nbsp;2023. In this time frame, he was reportedly sexually harassed by Sean and “subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction".&nbsp;In the suit, Rodney says that he resided with Sean Combs at several of his residences in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, and a rented yacht in the US Virgin Islands.

It wasn’t just limited to physical assault as Rodney claims that Sean recorded hours of audio and video footage of him and his staff “engaging in seriously illegal activity".&nbsp;He states that he was subjected to “constant unsolicited and unauthorised groping and touching of his anus,” and was “forced to work in Sean’s bathroom as the mogul showered nude.”

The lawsuit also details how Rodney was witness to Sean flaunting guns and boasting of getting away with shooting people.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Sean’s lawyer Shawn Holley, shared a statement with Variety refuting Jones’ claims. “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 billion lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” she said. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

Sean 'Diddy' Combs in more trouble: Producer sues him for sexual assault

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently dealing with multiple lawsuits as several women claim that he raped and sexually abused them some years ago. In the wake of these allegations, the music mogul’s planned TV show has been scrapped.

According to reports, Sean’s family was to be the centre of a reality show that was in the early stages of development at Hulu. The show had a working title of Diddy+ 7. It was to be produced by James Corden’s production company, Fulwell 73.&nbsp;

Less than a week later than that, another woman alleged that Sean “drugged, sexually assaulted and abused” her and that she was the victim of “revenge porn” created and distributed by the rapper. A third lawsuit was filed when a woman claimed that Sean and his friends took turns raping her sometime between 1990 and 1991. Reality show on Sean 'Diddy' Combs gets scrapped amid rape allegations

Bad news for Sean “Diddy” Combs as he was slapped with yet another lawsuit for allegedly gang-raping a 17-year-old girl in 2003. This is the fourth sexual assault allegation filed against the music mogul in&nbsp;a span of a month.

In the latest&nbsp;one, the woman identified as Jane Doe, alleged that she was flown on a private jet from Michigan to Combs’ recording studio in New York, where she was raped by three people, including Sean Combs and Harve Pierre, the president of Bad Boy Entertainment.

According to the suit, Sean “Diddy” Combs and his associates gave her “copious amounts” of drugs and alcohol. Once she was under heavy drugs, she was raped over a bathroom sink while she went in and out of consciousness. In the lawsuit, the woman claims that Sean Combs then watched as a third man also raped her.

The woman came forward after reading about another lawsuit last month by Sean’s former partner Casandra Ventura, who is popularly known as Cassie. Cassie too accused Combs of raping her and beating her over the course of a decade. She also found out that there was another lawsuit against Pierre in which he was accused of grooming and sexually assaulting his former assistant.

The lawsuit states, “Seeing two other women bravely speak out against Mr. Combs and Mr. Pierre, respectively, gave Ms. Doe the confidence to tell her story as well.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has settled the lawsuit with Cassie while maintaining his innocence. He has meanwhile denied the other two sexual assault lawsuits.&nbsp;

In the wake of this lawsuit, Sean in a statement said, “Enough is enough”.

“For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”

As the sexual assault cases continue to pile up against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, the celeb has stepped aside as chairman of Revolt, the music-oriented TV network that he co-founded in 2013. It is a temporary decision suggested by his team since Sean is embroiled in not one but three lawsuits.&nbsp;

Revolt's Instagram page posted a lengthy statement. It read: “Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as chairman of Revolt. While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.”

Earlier this month, singer and Sean’s former romantic partner Cassie accused Sean Combs of raping and beating her over the course of a decade. Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, previously recorded for Combs’ Bad Boy record label. They were romantically linked for the longest time until they eventually parted ways. Just one day after the suit was filed, Cassie and Sean reached a settlement.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/hollywood/news-sean-combs-accused-of-rape-abuse-by-former-partner-cassie-659552">Explainer| Sean Combs accused of rape, abuse by former partner Cassie: A look at their failed romance</a>

Cassie said in a statement, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs added: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.” Sean Combs maintains his innocence, as his attorney Ben Brafman said in a follow-up statement, “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Just after that got settled, he was hit with another lawsuit as Joi Dickerson-Neal, alleged that Combs “drugged, sexually assaulted and abused” her and that she was the victim of “revenge porn” created and distributed by the rapper. She claims that the two met while she was a student at Syracuse University in 1991 and she agreed to attend a dinner with him after appearing in one of his music videos. Dickerson-Neal alleges that Combs “intentionally drugged” her during the dinner, sexually assaulted her, recorded it on video, and shared the tape with others.&nbsp;

Another woman alleged that Sean Combs and Aaron Hall took turns raping her and her friends at Hall’s apartment sometime between 1990 and 1991.

Sean Combs to receive MTV's Global Icon Award at 2023 VMAs

Nearly two decades after they broke up, singer Jennifer Lopez and music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs reunited virtually for a dance-off that had the fans celebrating.

The former lovers came together on Instagram live in a bid to raise money for a charity organization called Direct Relief, as a part of a dance-a-thon that was arranged by Diddy.

Diddy's dance-a-thon raised over $3.4 million (£2.73 million) for the non-profit organisation, which supports frontline workers who have been working tirelessly even as coronavirus has spread almost in entire United States of America.

The dance-a-thon became more special when Lopex was joined by finace Alex Rodriguez so that they could show some big dance moves.

J Lo and Diddy broke up 19 years ago in 2001 but the two clearly have buried their past differences as they were all smiles during the live event.

"Hey, I love you guys, I can’t wait until we can see each other again. May God bless y’all, and I just love you guys!" Diddy told Lopez and Rodriquez. To which the Yakees star replied, "Love you, buddy!"

Lopez added, “We love you! We love what you’re doing, we love everybody out there.

"We want to send you all the love in the world, from our family to yours," JLo further added.

Diddy's three sons were also a part of the dance-a-thon and when Lopez and Rodriquez joined them, the rapper told his children 'I'm the luckiest man in the world'.

Lopez and Diddy then showed off some salsa moves, with the singer jokingly telling the rapper, “I probably taught you that!”

Lopez was not the only star to join Diddy's Sunday charity event. Other prominent faces who put some great moves during the live session were Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Shaq, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Kelly Rowland and Maluma.
