The footage shows Putin standing on a boat near the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, accompanied by Elena Ilyukhina, an official from the Russian Petroleum refineries company Gazprom Neft. Russia's latest space agency mission: Raising a militia for the war in Ukraine?

In a major development, Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Friday, confirmed that the first batch of tactical nuclear weapons has already been stationed in Belarus. The confirmation from Putin came nearly 10 days after he laid a timeline for deploying the nuke arms. Although during his last announcement, he mentioned that the deployment would be completed as soon as the adaptation work at the relevant storage facilities was completed, it wasn't expected before the first week of July.

Russia and Ukraine are struggling to contain the effects of one of the biggest humanitarian crises unleashed due to the war, the breach of the key Ukrainian Dam. It has triggered a massive flood downstream. At least seven people have already died in the flood-affected areas and the political blame game is on more in our next report.

Ukraine dam breach: Russia-Ukraine blame game continues

Russian President Vladimir Putin assures that he can "destroy any building in the centre of Kyiv" without nuclear weapons, but does not do this "for a number of reasons"; yet, the Russian dictator refused to reveal those reasons.

Putin: I can destroy any building in Kyiv city centre, but I won't. Why? I will not say

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said after meeting African leaders in Kyiv on Friday that peace talks with Russia would be possible only after Moscow withdraws its forces from occupied Ukrainian territory.

Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia has sent nuclear arms to its ally Belarus, which borders Ukraine. Putin has repeatedly warned that Russia, which has more nuclear weapons than any other country, will use all means to defend itself. Russia has a huge numerical superiority over the united states and the nato military alliance when it comes to tactical nuclear weapons. The united states believe Russia has around 2,000 such working tactical warheads. Reports say, the united states has around 200 tactical nuclear weapons, half of which are at bases in Europe. Remember, Belarus has borders with 3 nato members - Poland, Lithuania & Latvia. The treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, signed by the soviet union, says no nuclear power can transfer nuclear weapons or tech to a non-nuclear power. However, the key treaty does allow for the weapons to be deployed outside borders, but under the nuclear power's control.
