<p>The crew members, after trying to open the loo door, finally felt that it was not achievable without the help of engineers. The passenger all this time was inside the small toilet, the tiny enclosed space that can make many people worried and claustrophobic.</p>

<p>In what can be seen as an attempt to pacify the trapped passenger, an air hostess wrote a reassuring note on brown paper and slid it into the loo for the passenger to read.</p>

<p>The letter had updates on the ongoing efforts to resolve the door issues.</p>

<p>The message read, "Sir, we tried our best to open the door, however, we could not. Do not panic. We are landing in a few minutes, so please close the commode lid and sit on it and secure yourself. As soon as the main door is open, an engineer will come."</p>

<p>"We're going to go pick that up and make sure that we begin analyzing it," Homendy added. &nbsp;</p>

<p>As the first day of NTSB's investigation ended, the chairperson of the agency indicated that some factors were complicating the investigation. She said that&nbsp;the record of the event in the plane’s cockpit voice recorder was inadvertently taped over and they had not found the door plug.</p>

<p>The flight, which belonged to a Romanian charter company, had taken off from Dubai, United Arab Emirates and landed at a small Vatry airport, which was a technical stopover when they were intervened by the police, said the Marne prefect's office, in an e-mailed statement.<br />

"The reception hall at Vatry airport was transformed into a waiting area with individual beds to provide passengers with the best possible reception conditions", it added, stating that a judicial investigation has been started into the incident.</p>

<p>A Boeing 747, which had departed from New York's John F Kennedy International Airport and was en route to Liege, Belgium, was forced to return on November 9 after a horse went loose inside the cargo hold.</p>

<p>The horse, which momentarily ran away from its stall onboard, was euthanised because of the extent of its injuries, as per reports. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The cargo flight, which was being run by charter airline Air Atlanta Icelandic, had climbed nearly 31,000 feet when Air Traffic Control was contacted by the crew in Boston and the issue of escape of horse was reported.</p>

<p>“We don’t have a problem (…) flying-wise,” stated one of the pilots, in a video which was shared by the YouTube channel “You Can See ATC,” but “we cannot get the horse back secured".&nbsp;</p>

<p>The horse was one of the 15 animals being transported to Liege, which is Europe's import hub.</p>

<p>As per John Cuticelli, head of the corporation responsible for operating animal quarantine and export at John F Kennedy International Airport, turbulence struck the flight shortly after its takeoff.</p>

<p>The horse got spooked by the turbulence hit and jumped halfway over the stall's high front barrier and was hung up, with his hind legs trapped on the stall's inside and his front legs on one side of the barrier.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>'Flight was going too fast'&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>"I saw the airplane coming down the runway quickly I knew that he wasn't gonna have time to stop," Jack Schneider, who witnessed and captured the whole incident, told local news broadcaster WFAA-TV on Saturday.</p>

<p>"It was clearly going too fast, the tyres were smoking."</p>

<p>So far, it has not been revealed as to what caused the accident.</p>

<p>According to reports, the car driver suffered minor injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital, while the two people in the plane escaped unhurt.</p>

<h2><strong>FAA announces investigation</strong>&nbsp;</h2>

<p>The&nbsp;McKinney Fire Department, in a statement, said that paramedics evaluated all three patients at the scene and transported the car's driver to the hospital with minor injuries.</p>

<p>Another March incident involved multiple hospitalisations after a Lufthansa flight from Austin to Frankfurt, Germany, experienced turbulence and made an emergency landing at Dulles International Airport in Virginia.</p>

<p>Approximately 20 passengers and crew members on a Condor flight from Frankfurt to Mauritius were injured due to turbulence in March.</p>

<p>In April last year, a JetBlue aircraft made many attempts to land at John F Kennedy Airport in New York unsuccessfully due to bad weather.</p>

<p>A video took social media by storm showing some chaotic scenes from inside the flight where passengers were seen begging to deboard the flight.&nbsp;</p>

Eight injured as JetBlue flight faces severe turbulence before landing in Florida

<p>An IndiGo pilot collapsed and died at the boarding gate of Nagpur Airport in India, just as he was about to board an aircraft to fly it to Pune. The incident transpired on Thursday (August 17) and the deceased pilot has been identified as 40-year-old&nbsp;Captain Manoj Subramanyam.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The KIMS-Kingsway Hospital where&nbsp;Subramanyam was admitted said&nbsp;prime facie, it appears that he suffered a suspected sudden cardiac arrest, according to&nbsp;news agency Press Trust of India (PTI).</p>

<p>Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the regulatory body said the pilot was well-rested prior to the flight despite having operated on two sectors on Wednesday (August 16).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The pilot had on Wednesday (Aug 16) operated two sectors -&nbsp;Trivandrum-Pune-Nagpur -&nbsp;early morning, between 3 am and 7 am. Thereafter he had 27 hours of rest and was scheduled to operate four sectors on Thursday with departure at 1 pm. Departure from Nagpur was to be his first sector of the day," a senior DGCA official was quoted as saying by Times of India newspaper.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the incident, IndiGo released a statement and paid condolences to the family of the deceased.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We are saddened at the passing of one of our pilots in Nagpur earlier today. He took unwell at Nagpur airport and was rushed to the hospital where he unfortunately passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”</p>

<p>Despite the pilot's death, the IndiGo flight took off at 1:24 pm after 14 minutes of delay from its scheduled departure.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the medical teams declared Andaur dead when the plane arrived in Panama City. He had 25 years of service flying for LATAM.&nbsp;</p>
