<p>The police broke a window and deployed the device near her 17-month-old son Waylon who was already on a ventilator. “All I seen was lights flashing and smoke coming into the house,” she told CBS News.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I didn’t know what to do because there was guns pointed at me. I wanted to run to him, but I knew if I ran to him...they could’ve shot,” Price added. According to media reports, Courtney and her son were the only ones home at the time of the raid.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I kept screaming, ‘My baby, my baby is on a ventilator. My baby’s in here’,” Price said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking to the local media, Reida Jennings, who rented the house to the Price family said the mother and her son were staying with her as Waylon waited for his surgery for a heart defect.</p>

<p>“The baby is now in the ICU. He’s got burns all over him, inside of his lungs are burned,” Jennings told WJW.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She said that the Ring camera footage showed that the flashbang hit Waylon and alleged that the police let the toddler “lay there for about 35 to 45 minutes in the smoke.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Elyria Police Department has since denied the allegations. “Any allegation suggesting the child was exposed to chemical agents, lack of medical attention or negligence is not true,” said the police in a statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In an update, Beavercreek police department confirmed that four people have been injured after “a male” walked into a Walmart around 8:35 pm (local time) and “began firing a gun”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police also confirmed the death of the shooter from an “apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” adding that responding police officers did not fire any shots.</p>

<p>The incident took place on Thursday at 11 am (local time) when she was out at Walmart Store in Southern Ohio for shopping.</p>

<p>The woman, whose name wasn’t revealed, told the Waverly Police Department that&nbsp;her two-year-old boy took her Taurus 9mm firearm from her purse, and it went off.</p>

<p>Fortunately, none of the bullets hit the ceiling of the store, and the child was left with a minor injury to his forehead “due to contact with the magazine,” police said.</p>

Ohio voters add abortion rights to state’s constitution, Biden says 'MAGA lost'

<p>Ohio voters on Tuesday (Nov 7) approved a ballot measure to legalise recreational marijuana, delivering a major blow to Republicans who failed to instate a proposed law.</p>

<p>Ohio became the 24th US state to legalise recreational marijuana.</p>

<p>It means that people aged 21 and more would be able to use, grow or sell marijuana under a regulation-and-tax programme imposed by the state.</p>

<p>As per media reports, a 10 per cent tax will be imposed on purchases of marijuana for non-medical purposes, and the money will be spent on supporting the industry itself.</p>

<p>The measure will become effective in 30 days.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Marijuana is no longer a controversial issue," said Tom Haren, spokesman for the Coalition to Regulate MarijuanaLike Alcohol, while celebrating the outcome.</p>

<p>"Ohioans demonstrated this by passing State Issue 2 in a landslide. Ohioans are being extremely clear on the future they want for our state: adult-use marijuana legal and regulated,” the statement added.</p>

<h2><strong>Big blow to GOP</strong></h2>

<p>The outcome came as a big blow to the Republican Party, with its leaders, some organisations and manufacturing units expressing concerns over its impact on workplace and traffic safety.</p>
