<p>In a chilling incident, CCTV captured a 38-year-old man jumping off Atal Setu bridge in Mumbai to attempt suicide on Wednesday afternoon (July 24).&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the video, a&nbsp;Tata Nexon was seen stopping on the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, after which the man got out of the vehicle.</p>

<p>He seemed determined to take his life as he rushed towards the railing of the bridge, climbed it, and, jumped off within seconds.</p>

<p>The man captured in the CCTV footage has been identified as K Shriniwas, who was an engineer and lived in Dombivli. He drove his car to the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link's Nhava Sheva and parked it at around 12:30 pm (local time) before dying by suicide.</p>

<p>In an unbelievable incident, an Indian man - identified as Santosh Lohar hailing&nbsp;from the state of Bihar - dug his teeth in a snake after it bit him while he was sleeping.</p>

<p>The man, who was a resident of Nawada city, was sleeping at his base camp after completing the entire day's work of placing railway lines when he was attacked by the snake.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The man, who believed in the superstition that biting the snake helps in neutralising the venom, decided to do the same and bit the snake twice, as reported by the NDTV.</p>

<p>The 35-year-old man's unconventional response led to the death of the snake, however, he was also admitted to the hospital.</p>

<p>According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), if someone gets a snake bite, it is recommended that he/she act quickly and seek medical help.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If a person gets immediate medical attention, it prevents complications and decreases the risk of death or long-term disability.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Also, the person after getting bitten by the snake, should immediately leave the area and remove any jewellery or tight clothing.</p>

<p>The affected limb should be immobilised and it should be kept still. Nobody should try to suck out the venom. The victim should instead be taken to a health facility quickly and safely.</p>

<p>Later, the opening was closed using a skin and cartilage graft from his ear, and this area subsequently became the site of hair growth.</p>

<p>“Over this&nbsp;period of time, he was planning not only to commit the homicide but to get away with it …To cover it up and how to erase his debt and prevent Fahim Saleh from testifying in criminal proceedings,”&nbsp; Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Linda Ford told the court.</p>

<p>According to The New York Post, Haspil also allegedly used credit cards of Saleh to pay for rides and even bought supplies from the same card to clean up the murder.</p>

<p>The prosecutors said that Haspil was wearing a mask when he zapped Saleh with a Taser, stabbed his body and later dismembered it by cutting off the head of the victim.</p>

<p>“Never, ever, ever came about where I was here illegally, even though Social Security says I&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;prove it to them. They gave me my Medicare for over a year and a half,"&nbsp;he added.</p>

<p>In a very strange incident, a Belgian court dismissed a drink-driving charge against a man after they found that he was suffering from a rare metabolic condition which led to the production of alcohol in his body.</p>

<p>In the court, the 40-year-old man was able to prove that he was suffering from auto-brewery syndrome (ABS), in which the carbohydrates get fermented in his stomach and increase ethanol levels in his blood which finally leads to signs of intoxication.</p>

<p>The unusual case was confirmed to Agence France-Presse by the man's lawyer Anse Ghesquiere after it was reported in Belgian media.</p>

<p>The patient was admitted to the intensive care unit and was injected with corticosteroid dexamethasone four times every day to decrease the swelling in his brain.&nbsp;</p>

<p>These dinosaurs had a sturdy vertebrae. It allowed them to reach towering heights while grazing on vegetation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Palaeontologists kept this discovery a secret for two years. They were worried that people would come to the site and damage the bones. Volunteers at the ACAP slowly extracted the titanosaur fossil, which has been taken to the museum in Cruzy recently.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"In France, in the Upper Cretaceous, it is very rare, to find this, he [Boschetto] had to have the 'eye.' Some have passed for 30 years, they have not seen this site," the museum's founder, Francis Fage, said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A grand jury returned a nine-count indictment against&nbsp;Deobra Delone Redden whose actions were captured in a courtroom video that went viral on social media platforms. The indictment alleged that he attempted to murder Holthus by "grabbing her, pulling her hair,&nbsp;placing his hands around her throat and/or hitting her on the head by manner and means unknown".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Apart from attacking the judge, Redden has also been accused of&nbsp;“punching and/or kicking and/or pushing” a Las Vegas police officer.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For the next minute-and-a-half, Redden and the security official continued to jostle as the criminal assaulted the judge. It took more than a couple of security guards to submit Redden who was then put in handcuffs and escorted off the scene.&nbsp;</p>

Notably, Redden was not in custody when he arrived at the court, wearing a white shirt and dark pants, standing next to his defence attorney Caesar Almase.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, Redden&nbsp;has a comprehensive rap sheet, both in Nevada and Texas. He has faced charges ranging from battery, robbery, assault, injury to property and coercion. He previously served prison time in Nevada on a domestic battery conviction.&nbsp;</p>
