<p>Batting legend Virendra Sehwag is all set to come out of retirement and open for the Kings XI Punjab in their opener in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.</p>

<p>As per reports, the retired Indian Opener will open the Punjab innings against Delhi Daredevils in the absence of Aaron Finch.&nbsp</p>

<p>The decision, which was taken at the team preparatory camp in Mohali after a long deliberation by captain Ravichandran Ashwin, coach Brad Hodge, Director of Cricket Operations Virender Sehwag himself and the team management.</p>

<p>The IPL franchise even took to Twitter to confirm the news.</p>

IPL 2018: After Smith, Warner ban, unsold Ishant, Klaasen can comeback

<p>Sri Lankan middle-order batsman Kusal Perera might replace banned Australian player David Warner for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which commences on 7th April.</p>

<p>According to media reports, after Cricket Australia (CA) announced its decision to ban Warner and Smith for one year each, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) approached Perera to fill the space.</p>

<p>"The cheating has hurt Australian cricket from helmet to boot," it said in a commentary calling for Cricket Australia chief James Sutherland to stand down.</p>

<p>"In charge of the game for nearly two decades, Sutherland has done little to change the rotten culture of the sport at its most senior level."</p>

<p>It added that the scandal had dumped "disgrace and humiliation" on the nation.</p>

<p>The IPL 2018 opening match will see defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) take on two-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK).</p>

<p>Dhoni has been the skipper of CSK for all eight seasons and the team saw its stars turn up for training including Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay, Dwayne Bravo, Shane Watson and former Mumbai Indian Harbhajan Singh.</p>

<p>However, they will miss the services of another regular R Ashwin, who was not retained by the franchise.</p>

<p>Ashwin was brought by Kings XI Punjab at the IPL auctions in January and was also assigned the responsibility to lead the team in the upcoming edition.</p>

<p>With just two weeks time left for the XIth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to start, India&#39;s Test wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha has already signalled that he is going to have a &#39;run-making&#39; season this year.</p>

<p>Saha, who was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 5 crore in the IPL auction, smashed a blistering 102 runs off just 20 balls.</p>

<p>The right-hander scored the runs for his team Mohun Bagan in a JC Mukherjee Trophy match against BNR Recreation Club in Kalighat.</p>

<p>In his 102 runs knock, Saha smashed 14 sixes and four fours to gun down a modest target of 152 in just seven overs at Kalighat ground.</p>
