Per the Indian Express, a source close to the information revealed that because of the same reason, Thakur came out to bat late. The source added that he felt weak and slept in the dressing room after taking some medicine.

“He was not feeling well for the entire day and was running high fever, which was the main reason he came out to bat late. He was feeling weak, and he slept in the dressing room after taking medicine.”

“But he wanted to bat. We have got his blood test done for malaria and dengue. We are waiting for the results,” a source said, as quoted by The Indian Express.

Meanwhile, despite having a high fever, Thakur didn’t bow down as he faced 59 balls, hitting one six and four fours. He looked to hang around in the beginning without trying to take the attacking route.&nbsp;

In a heartbreaking incident, a 46-year-old woman – who was disabled and had asthma – died while sitting on a chair and waiting for a hospital bed for 39 hours.

Marina Young was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital in Lancashire after she complained of a headache and shortness of breath.

The doctors soon decided that the woman needed to be admitted, however, the hospital was full of patients and more than 50 patients were waiting for a bed in A&amp;E.

However, the severity of the woman's condition was underestimated by the staff who did not give her specialist drugs and also did not take her to critical care or respiratory medics.

For two nights, Marina sat on a chair and the next day she collapsed and her clothes were soaked in her urine.&nbsp;

The hospital carried out an internal investigation in which it was discovered that Young, who had spina bifida, may not have suffered a cardiac arrest if she had been given more timely treatment.

Speaking to MailOnline, retired hospital ward sister Michelle said, "Marina died in horrific circumstances.&nbsp;It is sickening to think that my sister could be treated with such a lack of compassion by the NHS, which is supposed to care for all people, irrespective of their physical limitations."&nbsp;

Marina was diagnosed with spina bifida because of which she faced mobility problems from childhood. In the United Kingdom, she was the first baby who had undergone a bladder transplant.

The incident took place at the RBS Health Care Centre in Bihar's Gangapur, while the doctor, who tried to assault the woman, and his two associates, were intoxicated.&nbsp;

The nurse was finishing off her work at the hospital when the accused came and tried to allegedly rape her. The nurse managed to flee from there after cutting the attacker and called the police from a nearby field.&nbsp;

Lab technician allegedly assaults teen girl in West Bengal hospital, arrested

As many as 120 people, including men, women, and children, in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh were admitted to hospitals&nbsp;because of food poisoning, after consuming&nbsp;buckwheat flour, said officials on Tuesday (Aug&nbsp;27).

A special team from the district food and drug administration inspected and sealed the shops of two vendors who were selling contaminated buckwheat flour. A case has been filed against them.

The incident was reported from various villages, with complaints filed in the Farah police area of the Mathura district last night. All the affected persons are stable, as confirmed by the officials.

On the occasion of Janmashtami, many individuals follow the ritual&nbsp;of fasting.&nbsp;Many people experienced vomiting, dizziness, and shivering after eating pooris and pakoras made from buckwheat flour,&nbsp;one of the foods that are consumed during fast.

“We had fritters made from buckwheat flour last night. After that, I started vomiting and felt a burning sensation in my stomach,” said Priyanka, a teenager admitted to the government hospital, according to the PTI video.

Dr. Bhudev Prasad, head of the health department's rapid response team, said similar instances were reported in several districts.

“Teams from the Health Department, Farah Community Health Centre (CHC), and District Hospital responded swiftly. Initially, patients were treated at the CHC, but as numbers increased, they were moved to the District Hospital, the 100-bed Joint Hospital in Vrindavan, and SN Medical College in Agra,” Dr. Prasad said, as quoted by PTI.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ajay Kumar Verma, asserted that 43 patients were admitted to the SN Medical College Hospital in Agra, 29 to the District Hospital in Mathura, 15 to the 100-bed Combined Hospital, 15 to Baba Jaigurudev Charitable Hospital, 10 to Chauhan Hospital, and others to the CHC in Farah.

“Patients showing improvement today will be discharged,” Dr. Prasad stated.

The affected people are from Parkham, Baroda, Mirzapur, Makhdoom, and Khairat villages. The flour was purchased by Jhagdu and Rajkumar, who supplied it from a grocery merchant in Farah.

<h2>Delhi bomb threat: What we know so far</h2>

The threat emails were first reported by Burari Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in the national capital in the afternoon, prompting authorities to dispatch multiple teams of bomb disposal squads at both locations.&nbsp;

According to the Delhi Police, nothing suspicious was found at the Burari Hospital, which received the threat around 3:00 pm (local time).&nbsp;The officials had earlier said local police and the Bomb Disposal Teams (BDT) are at the two hospitals and a search operation is underway.&nbsp;

Hours after bomb threat emails at the hospitals were reported, a report by news agency ANI citing the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said that the Indira Gandhi International Airport also received a bomb threat email.&nbsp;

DFS chief Atul Garg said that they received the call from the IGI Airport at around 6:15 pm (local time) and fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.&nbsp;

Over the day,&nbsp;bomb threats were reported from IGI Airport Terminal-3, Burari Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Dabri's Dada Dev Hospital and Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in Civil Lines, reported news agency PTI citing&nbsp;a senior DFS official.&nbsp;

The security at all the locations had been beefed up but&nbsp;nothing suspicious has been recovered from anywhere, so far.&nbsp;

"Enhanced security protocols are now in effect, and safety measures have been intensified. Legal action has been initiated. No suspicious items have been found as of now. Please remain calm and disregard any rumours," said&nbsp;Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), IGI Airport Usha Rangnani, as per ANI.&nbsp;

<h2>More airports receive bomb threats</h2>

Over the day it was also found that IGI airport was not the only one which received a bomb threat.&nbsp;

Jaipur International Airport witnessed chaos after it received the email prompting&nbsp;security personnel, police, and bomb disposal squad to search the airport, however, nothing was found, reported IANS.&nbsp;

According to reports, at least 12 airports including&nbsp;Raja Bhoj Airport (Bhopal), and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (Ahmedabad) received bomb threats on Sunday.&nbsp;

A bomb threat email was sent to 12 airports across the country including Jaipur International Airport, said an IANS report.

“Explosive devices have been installed in the buildings of Jaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Jammu, Lucknow, Patna, Agartala, Aurangabad, Bagdhugra, Bhopal and Calicut airports. There will be a blast in a few hours. Do not consider this mail as a threat. Defuse the bomb, otherwise many innocent people will die,” read the email.

Earlier this month, over 100 schools in the Indian national capital, a few in the adjoining region of Gautam Buddha Nagar also known as Noida, and one in Lucknow received bomb threats via email.

The e-mails were sent to 131 schools in the Indian capital, five in Gurugram, and three in Noida and Greater Noida.&nbsp;

Around three days after that incident, three schools in the Indian city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat also received threats.&nbsp;

At the time, a thorough search and investigation of the institutions by police officers, bomb detection teams, bomb disposal squads, and officials of the Delhi Fire Service revealed nothing. Because of this, the threats were concluded to be hoaxes.

The police tried to trace the origin of the hoax bomb emails and said that they are believed to have been sent from Russia and were aimed at creating panic.

Hospital toilets might look clean, but they're highly contaminated and might be exposing people to drug-resistant superbugs. According to a new study presented at the ESCMID Global Congress in Barcelona between April 27 and 30, patient toilets in UK hospitals have more contamination than staff toilets, of which women's bathrooms were the cleanest, while unisex and unisex-disabled toilets were the most contaminated.

Hospital toilets might look clean, but they're highly contaminated and might be exposing people to drug-resistant superbugs. According to a new study presented at the ESCMID Global Congress in Barcelona between April 27 and 30, patient toilets in UK hospitals have more contamination than staff toilets, of which women's bathrooms were the cleanest, while unisex and unisex-disabled toilets were the most contaminated. The research team found harmful bacteria, fungi and multi-drug resistant germs lurking on the surfaces of toilets in UK hospitals, including floors, ceilings and door handles. They collected microbe samples from the toilets in three general hospitals in Lanarkshire in the United Kingdom. They swabbed several surfaces in six kinds of toilets - male and female for staff and patients and disabled and unisex, around four hours after being cleaned. These surfaces included the flush, handrails, door handles, faucets, floor, shelves, tops of doors and air vents. After testing these samples, the research team discovered that most of these surfaces hosted dangerous bacteria, including E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. They also had several species that cause infections in the bloodstream, chest, urinary tract and diseases like pneumonia. Most patient toilets had drug-resistant superbugs (strains of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that have grown resistant to medications commonly used to treat infections, like antibiotics). For instance, Staphylococcus aureus has developed resistance against Methicilin and Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a multidrug-resistant superbug. Stephanie Dancer, a consultant biologist at NHS Lanarkshire and study researcher, said, "Every type of toilet in all three hospitals receives the same cleaning (type and frequency) every day but given our findings, we think that patient toilets should be cleaned more often." The unisex toilets were the most contaminated and had the highest levels of microbes on their surfaces. A common reason behind this can be that people, especially men, use those toilets more as the female-only toilets were significantly and consistently cleaner than the male-only toilets. "The move to convert traditional male and female facilities to unisex facilities in some hospitals raises concern that people might be exposed to higher risks of contamination," Dancer said. "For example, hand hygiene surveys show that women are more likely to clean their hands after bathroom use than men, so we decided to investigate which microbes were present on different surfaces in toilets and how many of them there were," she added.
