<p>Team India superstar Virat Kohli won the hearts of many with his brilliant gesture for Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf after the blockbuster clash between the two sides in Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday (August 28). Kohli gifted a signed jersey to Rauf following India's five-wicket victory against Babar Azam &amp; Co. at the Dubai International Stadium.</p>

<p>It was an intense clash between the two arch-rivals as the game went down the wire with India pulling off a thrilling win courtesy of Hardik Pandya's brilliant knock. After bundling out Pakistan for 147 runs, India were in a tricky spot in their run-chase as they found themselves reeling on 89/4 in the 15th over.</p>

<p>However, Pandya joined forces with Ravindra Jadeja in the middle and took India home comfortably. The duo added 49 runs for the fifth wicket before Jadeja was dismissed on the first ball of the 20th over. Pandya then finished off the proceedings in style with a six to hand India their first win of the tournament.</p>

<p>Rauf will now have to spend at least 14 days in isolation and return a negative test before he can return to action once again. <p>Rauf ended up slapping his teammate to remind him of the catch he had dropped earlier in the innings. Ghulam had dropped the catch of Zalmi opener &nbsp;Hazratullah Zazai. Rauf finally managed to get a wicket in the same over after Zazai's opening partner Haris was caught by Fawad Ahmed.</p>

The incident happened in the third over of the Perth Scorchers' innings when opener Kurtis Patterson was dismissed by the Pakistan pacer after getting caught behind.</p>

<p>Rauf gestured pouring out hand wash and washing his hands before taking out a mask from his pocket and wearing it in what was a unique way of celebrating the wicket. His teammate Beau Webster was also left amused by the celebration as he laughed and clapped while appreciating Rauf.</p>

<p>On Sunday evening (November 7), the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team continued their winning streak in the T20 World Cup 2021 edition. Playing their last match in the Super 12, the Men in Green thrashed Scotland by a whopping 72-run margin and topped their group (Pool B) as they now head to the semi-finals with a five-match unbeaten streak in the showpiece event (16th consecutive T20I wins in a row in UAE).</p>

<p>Talking about the match, Pakistan opted to bat first at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Sunday evening. They were off to a slow start as the one-time winners were only 60 for 2 in ten&nbsp;overs. Nonetheless, Babar's 47-ball 66 and Shoaib Malik's 18-ball 54* propelled the side to 189/4. In reply, the Kyle Coetzer-led Scotland side were restricted for a paltry 117/6, courtesy&nbsp;Richie Berrington's 54, as Shadab Khan's 2 for 14 and other bowlers combined to take Pakistan to yet another win in the tournament.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday confirmed three players – Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan – have tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Pakistan’s tour to England. The players were asymptomatic until they were tested for coronavirus in Rawalpindi on Sunday.</p>

<p>The PCB medical panel is in touch with Ali, Haris and Shadab and the trio have been advised to go into self-isolation immediately. Whereas, Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari were screened in Rawalpindi and the results have come negative. The duo will travel to Lahore on June 24.&nbsp;</p>
