<p>Author of bestselling books like "Kite runner" and "Thousand Splendid Suns" Khaled Hosseini is coming up with his new book this year which is expected to release in September in the United States.</p>

<p>The Sea prayer's plot is based on refugee crisis and it revolves around a story of character name Alan Kurdi who is forced to leave his home due to war.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While making the announcement on Instagram, Hosseini wrote &nbsp;"I am proud to announce the forthcoming publication of SeaPrayer (UK: 30th August, US: September 18), illustrated by Dan Williams. We are living in the midst of a displacement crisis of enormous proportions. #SeaPrayer is an attempt to pay tribute to the millions of families, like Alan Kurdi’s, who have been splintered and forced from home by war and persecution."</p>

<p>Author and scriptwriter of popular "Game of Thrones" George RR Martin is currently writing sixth installment of "The song of Ice and Fire" series name "The Winds of Winter". Though the book has missed numerous deadlines from 2015 however however 2018 is expected to the year of his this eagerly awaited book will hit the shelves.</p>

<p>The Winds of Winter is coming after seven years of since the release of "A Dance with Dragons" which is the most recent book of the series.</p>

<p>During the media interview. George RR Martin informed that Lady Stoneheart would an important character of the entire book as she became a vengeful and merciless killer after Catelyn's ressurection.</p>

<p><strong>Raavan: Orphan of Aryavarta by Amish Tripathi</strong></p>

<p>Best known for "The Immortals of Meluha, "The Secret of the Nagas", "Ram: Scion of Ikshvaku" and "Sita: Warrior of Mithila" Amish Tripathi will return in 2018 with "Raavan: Orphan of Aryavarta" this year.</p>

<p>The book is expected to release by the end of the this year. No official release date has been announced yet but Amish has assured his fans that it will not be delayed like his last "Sita: Warrior of Mithila" book.</p>

<p>However, the book's preview is exclusively available for Kindle users on Amazon.</p>

<p>The plot is based on mythological charcater Raavan of Ramayan in which he seeking revenge for his sister Shurpanakha after she was insulted Laxman the younger prince of Ayodhya. Knowing that the trio is on exile in Dandakarabta Raavan flies in order to capture Vishnu.</p>

<p>Author, newspaper colmnist and former film actress Twinkle Khanna will again tickle funnybones of readers in 2018 with her new book "Pajamas are Forgiving".</p>

<p>The release date has not been announced yet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Titled "Pajamas are Forgiving", the novel is about a woman character who is stuck in an ayurvedic retreat with her ex-husband and his younger second wife.</p>

<p>Twinkle Khanna is known for her "Mrs Funnybones", a compilation of her columns, and "The Legend of Laxmi Prasad", an anthology of short stories.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The book will be about a journey of Emily and her two other friend who need each other to get through their this tumultuous phase of their lives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>HBO’s “Game of Thrones”’ production team will now be given the BAFTA Special Award at this year’s British Academy Television Craft Awards.</p>

<p>BAFTA said that the award is to recognise the efforts of the production team of the hit series that has pushed boundaries while making the fantasy epic drama.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hannah Murray and John Bradley from the hit series are said to attend the ceremony to collect the award on behalf of the team.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Kashmir valley has seen frequest protests and rallies over the last few years. With very little recreational space available, the youth are virtually locked indoors due to continued strikes and curfews.</p>

<p>But all that is changing now. On the banks of famous Dal Lake, a humble cafe has become a favourite spot for poetry readings, stand-up comedy and music concerts, providing an oasis of sorts to address the lack of social intercations.</p>

<p>Based on <em>Game of Thrones</em>, this cafe hosts an iron throne, quite similar to that of the famous Hollywood drama series. The cafe as been named Winterfell, on one of the seven kingdoms of the famous TV series.</p>

<p>&quot;We named it Winterfell because it is in the north. In<em> Game of Thrones</em>, the Winterfell is located in north, in Kashmir we are also placed in north. Apart from that the temperature, the kind of attire we wear is also similar, especially in winter. It turned out we were the first themed cafe in Kashmir and we were the first themed cafe in whole of India based on Game of Thrones,&quot; said Umar Imtiyaz, co-owner, Winterfell.</p>

<p>Multiple cafes have come up in Kashmir providing a space for youth who are otherwise witness to brutal violence. In the last decade, Kashmir has witnessed hundreds of strikes and curfews, during which the population remains completely locked up in houses. Internet shutdowns add to the trouble.</p>

<p>While the conflict has taken over the life of youth, these cafe provide platform to singers, artists, poets and artists in Kashmir to showcase their talent and have a sense of respite from the brunt of political trouble. Sitting on the shopfront to discuss politics was a favourite activity of Kashmiris in early days but that is now being replaced by brick walls of cafes.</p>

<p>Responsibility of cafe in Kashmir has increased because the social life here has gone down. I remember that during my childhood, my parents didn&#39;t allow me to venture outside because this was a conflict zone. Obviously, we didn&#39;t have much interaction with outside world to get information about how the society is developing. When we talk of cafes and their importance, people from different areas come together where people talk, share their talent and share their ideas. It is a place which is not confined to eating and drinking; there are conversations. This is where the society shapes,&quot; said Imtiyaz.</p>

<p>Jammu and Kashmir is also marred by widespread unemployment, particularly among the younger sections of the society. Unemployment rate in the state is highest than the national average. About 25 per cent of those between the age group 18- 29 are without a source of proper employment. Thriving cafe culture has given a boost to entrepreneurship and employment generation.</p>

Game of Thrones: In strife-torn Kashmir, new cafe named Winterfell

<p>Ever since news came out that HBO&#39;s hit TV series <em>Game of Thrones</em> will <a href="http://www.wionews.com/world/entertainment-hbo-confirms-for-first-time-game-of-thrones-to-return-in-2019-28632" target="_blank">not come out as scheduled in 2018 </a>but will take longer, fans of GoT have been waiting for some news to speculate on till then -- and here it is.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Remember the map room on which Cersei Lannister, the commanding Queen of Westeros likes to plot and plan her conquest? It looks like the room serves more than one purpose.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Map of the seven kingdoms of Westeros was painted on the Red Keep&#39;s courtyard on the order of Cersei and now that is where she will&nbsp;for the first time&nbsp;see the doom of her kingdom.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a new DVD commentary from Season 7 (spotted by Winter is Coming) focuses in on a discussion between&nbsp;the producers about the very specific design requirements for the map room given by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss. It was pre-decided that the map room had to be roofless and visible to the sky -- setting up a plot point for the upcoming final season.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further, there was an exchange between features producer&nbsp;Chris Newman, VFX supervisor Joe Bauer, and Kullback:</p>

<p>&ldquo;The courtyard always was thought of as being an exterior courtyard, even before she had the map painted, hence the sunlight,&quot; said Newman to which&nbsp;Bauer replied: &ldquo;It used to be at least a story taller, but there was a need to see the sky in this coverage.&rdquo;Kullback added: &ldquo;Forthcoming coverage.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The erstwhile bastard of the Winterfell, the King of the North can now be called the true heir to the Iron Throne&nbsp;(and we genuinely don&#39;t know how we feel about it). The underdog that we loved is no more an underdog and that somehow takes the charm away from him.</p>

<p>Also, fans feel that his constant failure at keeping up with the challenges, at least on his own is a blot on his character. All episodes until now, he has fought like a hero but has desperately needed a support/ some type of saving--Maester Aemon at Castle Black, Stannis Baratheon, Melissandre, the Lord of Light, Knights of the Vale, Sansa, Daenerys Targaryen, Uncle Ben beyond the Wall.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Some viewers also feel quite passionately about his bending the knee to&nbsp;Daenerys Targaryen, the queen of the dragons as a foul move. She is a queen that most see as an outsider and are troubled by her temper--she burns her detractors.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For the finale, however, fans are happy about the professed romance cum love between the two but it&#39;s not appreciated by all as after all, it is the start of an incestuous relationship.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the other side, the finale has set the space for the next and final season--The Great Wall being down and white walkers having an ice dragon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Most of us Game of Thrones lovers are not even done absorbing the last episode ( 5 of season 7) and here is HBO releasing episode 6 by virtue of an error.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to reports online, HBO Spain aired the forthcoming episode 6 of season 7 of the series &ldquo;by mistake for one hour&rdquo;. A thread on Reddit plugged a screenshot of a TV screen airing the episode.</p>

<p>The hackers, who broke into HBO&#39;s computer network and have released stolen information for several weeks, provided more unaired episodes, including the popular show &quot;Curb Your Enthusiasm, &quot; which returns in October.</p>

<p>They also leaked episodes of &quot;Insecure,&quot; &quot;Ballers&quot; and &quot;The Deuce,&quot; according to the Associated Press.</p>

<p>Ed Sheeran&#39;s cameo was much hyped by the showrunners and the reason behind his appearance was to &#39;surprise&#39;&nbsp;Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark. However, Ed&#39;s &#39;singing&nbsp;appearance&#39;&nbsp;did not go down well with GOT fans who lashed out at him on social media.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We don&#39;t know about Cersei Lannister but fans just don&#39;t want to see Sheeran on the show again.&nbsp;</p>

<p>HBO on Thursday announced that <em>Game of Thrones</em> will return for its season seven premiere on July 16. In a gimmick described by the <em>New York Times</em> as &quot;memorably misguided,&quot; the US cable network revealed all in a&nbsp;Facebook Live video showing a block of ice which viewers had to melt by commenting &quot;Fire&quot; to reveal the date.</p>

<p>The process was supposed to take a touch under 15 minutes - already a long time to be concentrating on a block of slowly melting ice - but the video malfunctioned several times, drawing out the process to more than an hour.</p>

<p>The 28-year-old professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter has been offered a role on the HBO hit fantasy drama, and will join the cast in time for start of season seven, reported USA Today.</p>

<p>The news was announced by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White during an appearance on FOX Sports Live earlier this week.</p>

<p>&quot;I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show. And I&#39;m glad he did it. It&#39;ll be great. Yeah, the show&#39;s huge, it&#39;s awesome and I&#39;m excited for him,&quot; he said.</p>
