Flop was born in April this year and lost her mother. Just a few weeks after the hatching, she developed a limp and within 24 hours she lost her ability to walk or support her weight.&nbsp;

When she was taken to the vet, a blood test revealed it was because of a reaction and infection. She was given medical treatment. But soon after, her health started declining and she lost her appetite. Staff at the Black Country Zoo were scared for her life and in a desperate attempt to save her, they started using the penguin equivalent of a baby bouncer. They handmade that for Flop.&nbsp;

The staff even constructed a unique treadmill for her and adapted a baby alter as well to help her learn to walk and support her weight.&nbsp;

The world’s oldest man, John Tinniswood, died at the age of 112,&nbsp;Guinness World Records said on Tuesday, November 26. The Englishman survived two world wars and two global pandemics.

Born in the same year when the iconic Titanic ship sank, Tinniswood took his last breath in his care home in the town of Southport in northwest England. He was surrounded by “music and love” in his last moments, his family told Guinness World Records.

“John had many fine qualities. He was intelligent, decisive, brave, calm in any crisis, talented at maths and a great conversationalist,” his family said.

His wife passed away in 1986.

The late Queen Elizabeth sent him a birthday card every year since he turned 100 until she died in 2022.

Tinniswood had a regular diet, although he delighted in eating his favourite battered fish and chips&nbsp;every Friday. He said there was no secret to his long life, and called it “just luck.”

As learned on Friday, the ICC will not tour the coveted trophy in the sensitive regions of the border as the nations are yet to reach a compromise on the travel-related issues. Despite being the official hosts of the Champions Trophy, PCB has found it difficult to reach an agreement with ICC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to stage India’s matches in the nation. India informed ICC in the midweek that they won’t be travelling to Pakistan for the CT and the same was then informed by the ICC to PCB.

As reported by WION earlier, the PCB wrote a letter to the ICC and has asked for clarification on why India is not travelling to Pakistan despite other nations having no issues.

As things stand, with less than three months to go for the Champions Trophy to start Pakistan is not yet confident of hosting the entire tournament with the Indian team reluctant to travel. Pakistan’s proposal to host India’s matches including the final has been rejected by the BCCI, leaving ICC with three options.

Like 2008, the Champions Trophy could be postponed until a solution is met as the ICC could explore the idea. On the other hand, India’s reluctance to travel could force them out of the tournament if they are forfeited. However, that option looks unlikely due to India’s brand value in cricket and Jay Shah set to become the chairperson of the board of directors of ICC.

The hybrid model remains the best option and likely option to host the Champions Trophy with India’s matches to take place outside Pakistan while the rest of the seven teams play in the nation.
