<p>In the Asia Cup, Dhoni batted four times, scoring 77 runs with an average of 19.25 and a strike rate of 62.09.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Overall in 2018, he has batted 10 times in 15 matches, for an average of 28.12 and a strike rate of 67.36.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dhoni has an unimpressive record in the seaming conditions of England where he is yet to score a century from 20 ODIs, and averages 38.06, a sharp drop from his career average of 50.61.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"His overall record is very good," Ganguly pointed out.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It all depends how the players perform going ahead to the World Cup. It's about scoring runs. That's why Pant has been given a chance," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All 10 teams will play each other in a round-robin format, with the top four qualifying for the semi-finals in the next year's World Cup beginning with England versus South Africa at the Oval on May 30.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chennai's skipper MS Dhoni has returned to his farmhouse in Ranchi after winning the eleventh edition of Indian Premier League after defeating Hyderabad in the finals at Wankhede Stadium.</p>

<p>The victory has become emotional for the "Yellow Brigade" as MS Dhoni-led Chennai marked a return after serving a two-year ban and produced a stunning performance to clinch the trophy for the third time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Tuesday, MS Dhoni's wife shared a video on Instagram in which she gave a sneak peak of his beautiful house in Ranchi and captioned it "Back home !!!"</p>

<p>After winning the IPL trophy, the cricketer along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni and daughter Ziva has returned to their Ranchi farmhouse to spend some quality where their pet dogs were waiting to welcome them.</p>

<p>The farmhouse named 'Kailashpati' has a gymnasium, swimming pool, park, and even a few indoor stadiums for several sports.</p>

<p>The farmhouse spread across seven acres reportedly took three years to build.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is embellished with plush interior decoration with high-end and classy upholsteries. The property looked mammoth with enormous greenery and offers privacy for the Dhonis.</p>

Chennai's skipper MS Dhoni has returned to his farmhouse in Ranchi after winning the eleventh edition of Indian Premier League after defeating Hyderabad in the finals at Wankhede Stadium. The victory has become emotional for the "Yellow Brigade" as MS Dhoni-led Chennai marked a return after serving a two-year ban and produced a stunning performance to clinch the trophy for the third time. On Tuesday, MS Dhoni's wife shared a video on Instagram in which she gave a sneak peak of his beautiful house in Ranchi and captioned it "Back home !!!" After winning the IPL trophy, the cricketer along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni and daughter Ziva has returned to their Ranchi farmhouse to spend some quality where their pet dogs were waiting to welcome them. The farmhouse named 'Kailashpati' has a gymnasium, swimming pool, park, and even a few indoor stadiums for several sports. The farmhouse spread across seven acres reportedly took three years to build. It is embellished with plush interior decoration with high-end and classy upholsteries. The property looked mammoth with enormous greenery and offers privacy for the Dhonis. Few of the defeats were very painful as the match went to the last ball of the innings. In a format like IPL, luck matters a lot with hard work and intent.</p>

<p>Currently positioned at the bottom of the points table, every single match is very crucial for the team Mumbai and no scope of error is left.</p>

<p>In their seventh match against Chennai, which is scheduled to take place on April 28, team Mumbai has to be 100 per cent accurate with team selection, plans and executions. As one more loss will diminish their chances of qualifying for playoffs.</p>

<p>Chennai sitting at top of the points table and currently is in tremendous form and after chasing a mammoth target of 202 runs against Bangalore.</p>

IPL 2018: Rohit Sharma opts to bowl against Chennai

<p>A blockbuster IPL weekend will start with one of the most celebrated rivalries of all times. Dhoni-led Chennai face Rohit-led Mumbai at &nbspMaharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Saturday.</p>

<p>Defending champions Mumbai have suffered a very poor start in the tournament whereas team Chennai is currently sitting atop points table.</p>

<p>Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Evin Lewis will be central to Mumbai's batting plans and it is expected of them to give a good start but Pandya brothers need to support in the middle with some power hitting.</p>

<p>Mustafizur Rahman and Jaspreet Bumrah of Mumbai are capable enough to damage the batting strength of opponents but Chennai is not going to be easy.</p>

<p>On the other hand, Chennai have gained the required momentum and will be looking forward to beating Mumbai to today.</p>
