Have celebrities, except Salman Khan, used AI to write their statements for the NEET student protest happening in New Delhi, and now in several cities of the country?. This is the question that many netizens are asking.

Are celebrity posts on the student protest for the NEET paper leak written by AI? That’s the question many netizens have raised after noticing a similar tone and vague statements that make it unclear which side the celebrities are actually on. Days after the NEET protest escalated, thousands of students marched toward Parliament. The situation turned worse after police officers handled it with batons and tear gas to disperse them. charge. Several students were left seriously injured. As news of the protest spread, a section of social media questioned why Bollywood A-listers weren’t addressing the issue. After the backlash grew, several celebrities, including Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari and others, finally posted. But that sparked another debate. Netizens said the posts these stars shared seemed to be written by AI. Did celebrities use AI for their student protest posts? Netizens think so The conversation took a funny turn when Salman Khan shared his second post. He humorously called educator and activist Sonam Wangchuk “it’s done, bro” while asking him to break his fast. His natural, human tone made netizens believe he was the one, who had actually written from the heart. Compared to that, others felt like they had just posted for the sake of it. So as the issue escalated, netizens commented on one of the celebrities' posts,''Why have so many celebrities suddenly started posting all at once? And why are the posts so vague? It’s almost as if the either don’t know what they’re talking about, or they’re trying so hard not to say anything that no one can actually tell what they mean. 🤣 If you have something to say, say it clearly. If you don’t, silence is more honest than a carefully worded non-statement.'' Following talks between Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders and the Central government over the NEET-UG paper leak and protests in Delhi, reports surfaced suggesting that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will not resign from his position. Reacting to the claims, CJP has warned that if the reports are true, they “will be compelled to take tougher decisions.” Student protesters across the nation have demanded the resignation of Pradhan as their key demand, with CJP saying that the protests will only stop if the minister is removed from his position. Over the last week, demonstrations in the national capital have grown significantly larger and even turned violent during the July 20 ‘Sansad Chalo’ march. Also read | ‘That is the job of Centre’: Delhi HC dismisses plea seeking NIA probe into CJP NEET protestSpeaking to news agency PTI on Saturday (Jul 25), CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said, “In yesterday’s meeting, we received a positive response regarding compensation and legal cases. ‘Dharmendra Pradhan won’t resign’? CJP leader warns of tougher decisions

After over a month of protests in India’s national capital, the government’s overtures have intensified. Just a few minutes ago, the national testing agency terminated 47 officials as part of a major crackdown. However, the situation is far from settled, with protesters insisting on Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. The day saw hectic developments with PM Modi issuing a video at midnight in which he promised that the cabinet will approve tougher penalties for examination-related malpractices and table a bill regarding this in parliament. Nearly an hour later, activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his fast in the presence of Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. This came after the government agreed to consider suitable compensation for suicide victims of the NEET paper leak. It also gave an assurance on discussing the issue in parliament and not registering cases against peaceful protesters. Breaking the deadlock further, these union ministers also met representatives of the Cockroach Janta Party at a neutral venue. The meeting ended on a positive note, with both sides agreeing to meet again on Saturday. https://www.wionews.com/videos/neet-protest-pm-modi-promises-tougher-penalties-for-paper-leak-offenders-1784916706532/embed CJP even claimed that the government sought more time to deliberate on the demand for Pradhan’s ouster. While it was learned that the union cabinet approved amendments to the Public Examinations-Prevention of Unfair Means Act passed in 2024, the government remained tightlipped on the details. Now, what is the existing legal framework to deal with paper leaks? It is worth noting that the 2024 law was enacted with the precise intention of addressing malpractices in public examinations. All offences under this law are non-bailable. Additionally, a person convicted of resorting to unfair means in exams can be punished with three to five years in jail which can also be extended up to 10 years for organised crimes. The person can also be fined up to Rs 10 lakh, which can go up to Rs 1 crore. As per sources, the cabinet has approved a bill to enhance the quantum of punishment. Amid this, protests surged across the country. For instance, thousands of people gathered at Mumbai’s iconic Shivaji Park at a protest organised by Shiv Sena-UBT and expressed their anguish at the current state of education in India. Now, it is critical to understand that the NEET issue is not the sole trigger for people joining the protests. Larger concerns about the country’s education system loom large in the minds of youths. One such protester spoke to our correspondent, Dharamjot Kaur, present on the ground. JNU PhD student Chetupally Anvesh said, “The education system is crumbling in our country. When we are saying that we are becoming a vishwaguru, so what kind of vishwaguru you want to be by lathicharging your students, by breaking the spine of your own education system.” However, it seems that some quarters are not able to read the public mood accurately. Multiple public educational institutions such as the University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University faced flak on social media for urging their students to refrain from joining the ongoing protests. The raging protests are also seen as a manifestation of the larger concerns plaguing India’s youth. We are talking about a country where 65% of the population is under 35. One of the top concerns remains unemployment. While the overall unemployment rate was 3.1% in 2025, it was three times higher for the 15-29 age group. A recent survey by Deloitte also revealed the predicament of Gen Zs. For instance, 57% Gen Zs delayed major life decisions due to acute financial pressure. 37% Gen Zs were unable to afford a home. In terms of sheer numbers as well, Gen Zs are poised to play a vital role in the upcoming assembly elections of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh as they constitute over 20% of the population in these states. Their power cannot be understated. Gen Zs majorly contributed to actor-turned-politician Vijay’s stupendous victory in the Tamil Nadu assembly polls. One of the other factors fueling the protests is the alleged use of brute force by the police. Even veteran BJP leader and former Union HRD minister Murli Manohar Joshi condemned the mishandling of young female protesters. It is increasingly clear that protesters are not going to be satisfied by piecemeal actions. The truth is that Gen Zs have become a force to reckon with. Unless the government makes a meaningful effort to address their broad range of concerns, the situation might escalate further.

As protests surged across the country, thousands gathered at Mumbai’s iconic Shivaji Park and expressed their anguish at the current state of education in India. Larger concerns about the country’s education system loom large in the minds of youths.

The protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar have brought focus to messaging apps such as Bridgefy, Briar and Bitchat that use Bluetooth mesh technology. Unlike WhatsApp or Signal, these applications are designed to keep users connected even when mobile networks are unavailable, or internet services are suspended. This comes as internet services were disrupted in parts of central Delhi amid protests over the NEET-UG paper leak. How do these apps work without the internet? When mobile networks go offline, Bluetooth mesh apps rely on the phones around them to keep messages moving. Instead of sending data to internet servers, these apps use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to create direct links between nearby devices.Every smartphone running the app becomes a small relay station. A message sent by one user can move from phone to phone, jumping across nearby devices until it reaches the intended recipient. This allows communication even without mobile data, Wi-Fi or cellular signals. The catch is that the network depends on people being close enough and using the same app. A crowded area with many connected users can keep messages travelling, but a lack of nearby devices can break the communication chain. Why network size mattersA Bluetooth mesh network does not require a fixed number of users to function. Two compatible devices can exchange messages directly, but the network becomes more reliable as more participants join. Every additional device increases the chances of finding a path for messages to travel. If only a handful of people are using the app or if users are spread too far apart, the relay chain breaks, preventing messages from reaching recipients beyond Bluetooth range. In such cases, messages may remain undelivered until another compatible device comes within range. How useful are Bluetooth mesh apps during protests or disasters? In situations where mobile networks are disrupted, Bluetooth mesh apps can provide a temporary communication lifeline. During protests, natural disasters or large public gatherings, these platforms allow people to exchange messages without relying on internet access or telecom services. However, their success depends heavily on the situation around them. A crowded protest site or disaster zone with many users running the same app can create a stronger network, allowing messages to move across several devices. But in areas with fewer users, the connection can weaken quickly as there may not be enough phones available to relay messages. These apps are therefore not a replacement for regular messaging platforms. They work best as backup tools when conventional networks fail, offering limited but useful communication in specific situations rather than a complete alternative to internet-based services.
