On Instagram, Vicky recently conducted an interactive session with fans. When a user asked him if he has ever seen a ghost in real life, Vicky opened up on the subject of sleep paralysis.<br />

"I have experienced sleep paralysis a couple of times. It`s damn scary," he wrote.</p>

<p>Sleep paralysis is a medical condition where a person, on waking up from sleep, experiences a temporary inability to move or speak. The actor also shared that he is scared of watching horror films.</p>

<p>Incidentally, the actor's last release was a horror film called 'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship'.&nbsp; The film did not fare that well at the box office.<br />

Vicky will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar`s 'Sardar Udham Singh'. He has also signed Meghna Gulzar`s film biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He will be essaying the title roles in both films.</p>

<p>Some of the most prominent film actors from different film industries in India recently came together for a short film 'Family'. Highlighting the importance of social distancing and how a film can be shot within the confinements of one's home.<br />

The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mamooty, Mohanlal, Prasenjit Chatterjee, Sonali Kulkarni, Prithviraj Rajkumar and Diljit Dosanjh- some of the leading names from various regional film industries.</p>

<p>Considering the stars shot their respective portions from their own homes, they had to rely on family members to shoot the sequences. In an interview to a news daily, ad filmmaker Prasoon Pandey, who conceptualised the film and virtually directed it revealed that how Ranbir and Alia, who have recently moved in together, shot each other's portions while Nick Jonas turned cameraman for wife Priyanka Chopra at their LA home.<br />

"Amitji’s portions were shot by Abhishek. Nick Jonas shot Priyanka’s segment, Rajinikanth ji’s was shot by his daughter Soundarya. Ranbir and Alia went behind the camera for each other. Everyone was so gracious. They didn’t come into the frame, but they were simply helping. They were so selfless,” Prasoon said.</p>

<p>The director added that his son shot the template video with him portraying all the characters, to give the stars a better idea about what is expected and how to frame the shots and which direction to look at.<br />

"Amitji’s portions were shot by Abhishek. Nick Jonas shot Priyanka’s segment, Rajinikanth ji’s was shot by his daughter Soundarya. Ranbir and Alia went behind the camera for each other. Everyone was so gracious. They didn’t come into the frame, but they were simply helping. They were so selfless,” Prasoon said. "We will miss her terribly. She spent 40 years here on the Vineyard. I've been working with her for 30 years here (on Marthas's Vineyard) and three years since she moved (to Ohio)," he said.<br />

Fierro played grieving mother to young Alex Kintner (Jeffrey Voorhees), the second victim of the killer great white shark in Spielberg's 'Jaws' which released in 1975. She later reprised her role in 'Jaws: The Revenge' in 1987.<br />

"Given the unprecedented nature of the situation we are in, an initiative undertaken by Mr Bachchan, We Are One has been supported by Sony Pictures Networks India and Kalyan Jewellers, through which the monthly ration of 1,00,000 households across the country will be funded," a statement released by Sony Pictures Networks on Sunday read.<br />

"Through a commercial tie-up with a leading chain of hypermarkets and grocery stores in India, digitally barcoded coupons have been distributed to a verified list of workers from the All India Film Employees Confederation.<br />
Furthermore, monetary help has also been extended to those in need," the statement further said. &nbsp;<br />

The time period of this initiative is not clear, yet. In fact, Big B is not the only one. Producers guild too has been providing ration to daily wage earners. Several technicians on film sets are paid on per day basis and due to the lockdown, their incomes have been deeply affected.<br />

<p>Salman Khan starrer ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ was scheduled to release this Eid and looks like the Bollywood star is pretty serious about getting the film out on time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While everyone around the world is practicing self isolation including people in India after PM Modi announced a 21-day lockdown, Salman Khan is with a bunch of film crew at his farmhouse in Mumbai. The star is working on the post-production of the film so that it can meet its timings.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thus the actor is working from his Panvel farmhouse. He has taken a small post production team with him. While Prabhu Deva is in Chennai, Salman is constantly in touch with him and both of them are supervising the editing.</p>

<p>‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is bankrolled by his brother Sohail Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films. It marks the actor's third collaboration with choreographer and filmmaker Prabhudeva.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While we have been seeing individual videos of actors and celebs around the world trying to educate fans about taking precautions and self isolating to “flatten the curve” so as to restrict the spread of coronavirus, Bollywood actors have too come forward with a special message.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As part of the Maharashtra Government's initiative, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray shared this video on his social media, appealing everyone to be safe during these trying times.</p>

<p>The video features actors Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, and Ayushmann Khuranna. It is made by Rohit Shetty Picturez on behalf of the chief minister.</p>

<p>Through the clip, the actors are seen giving important advice to citizens on how to tackle coronavirus like washing hands regularly, covering face while sneezing and other such things.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mumbai has been ordered to go into a complete lockdown of all non-essential shops and offices in Mumbai, MMR region, Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and Nagpur on Friday. The CM further added that all offices will have to work from home, and if that is not possible then they will have to shut their offices.</p>

According to reports, the singer landed in Lucknow from London on Sunday and was among the four to have contracted the disease in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.<br />

The singer along with others has been shifted to one of Lucknow's government hospitals where further tests are being conducted. The total number of cases in Uttar Pradesh has now gone up to 9.</p>

<p>The press release which was tweeted by film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh declared that the PGI "would set up a Relief Fund for daily wage earners impacted by the complete shutdown of film, television and OTT productions owing to the COVID-19 epidemic."</p>

Therefore, the Producers Guild has decided to set up a Relief Fund to help support those most affected by the shutdown."<br />

Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees has also come forward to help those in need of financial assistance in these times.&nbsp;<br />

In a statement issued to the press, the Federation has stated that it would be organizing the distribution of ration and basic materials of daily needs for the needy members of all its affiliates.<br />

As film industry shuts down amid COVID-19 scare, Producers guild come forward to help daily wage earners

<p>An old video of Tamil actress Rekha has surfaced online where the senior actress can be heard saying that that how she was not informed about a kiss that actor Kamal Haasan would plant on her lips in the climax scene of 1986 film 'Punnagai Mannan'.&nbsp;<br />

The actress was 16 at that time and alleged that director K Balachander and Kamal Haasan had tricked her and shot an 'unplanned kiss' scene without her consent.&nbsp;<br />

"I've said this a hundred times. They shot the scene without me knowing about it. People ask me the same question and I'm fed up of answering it," Rekha told The News Minute soon after her old interview went viral.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The actress though added that the now-famous kiss helped the film in totality -bringing out the right emotions needed for the story.&nbsp;<br />
"The kiss didn't look ugly or aggressive on-screen. There was a need for it, but I was a very young girl and I didn't know about it. He (director K Balachander) said, 'Kamal, close your eyes! You remember what I told you, right?' and Kamal said that he did. Then we had to jump when he said 1, 2, 3... we kissed and then jumped. It was only when I watched it in theatres that I realised it had such a huge impact," she said.<br />

Rekha had just completed class 10th when she shot the film and was assured that the said kiss would not be cleared by the Censor Board.&nbsp;<br />

"They continued after that shot also, we had a location shift. Suresh Krissna and Vasanth were the associate directors, and I told them I wasn't informed about the kiss and that I wouldn't have agreed to it. But they told me to think of it as a big king kissing a small child. They told me it wouldn't be passed by the Censor. I asked them what the Censor was,"the actress added.&nbsp;</p>

I got many films after that, too, with Ramarajan and Ilaiyaraaja, like Namma Ooru Pattukaran. We were all so busy in those days, going from one schedule to another," Rekha recalled.<br />

She said she wouldn't have given her consent to the scene had they asked her.&nbsp;<br />

While the incident took place more than three decades ago, the interview has sparked controversy on social media as many have demanded actor Kamal Haasan to apologise to Rekha including singer Chinmayi Sripada who is an advocate of the #MeToo movement.&nbsp;<br />

The actress was 16 at that time and alleged that director K Balachander and Kamal Haasan had tricked her and shot an 'unplanned kiss' scene without her consent. "I've said this a hundred times. They shot the scene without me knowing about it. People ask me the same question and I'm fed up of answering it," Rekha told The News Minute soon after her old interview went viral. The actress though added that the now-famous kiss helped the film in totality -bringing out the right emotions needed for the story. "The kiss didn't look ugly or aggressive on-screen. There was a need for it, but I was a very young girl and I didn't know about it. He (director K Balachander) said, 'Kamal, close your eyes! You remember what I told you, right?' and Kamal said that he did. Then we had to jump when he said 1, 2, 3... we kissed and then jumped. It was only when I watched it in theatres that I realised it had such a huge impact," she said. Rekha had just completed class 10th when she shot the film and was assured that the said kiss would not be cleared by the Censor Board. "They continued after that shot also, we had a location shift. Suresh Krissna and Vasanth were the associate directors, and I told them I wasn't informed about the kiss and that I wouldn't have agreed to it. But they told me to think of it as a big king kissing a small child. They told me it wouldn't be passed by the Censor. I asked them what the Censor was,"the actress added. Neither did the veteran filmmaker. The actress, though admits she never asked the actor-director duo for an apology. "Why would they apologise? The film was a superhit! I got many films after that, too, with Ramarajan and Ilaiyaraaja, like Namma Ooru Pattukaran. We were all so busy in those days, going from one schedule to another," Rekha recalled. She said she wouldn't have given her consent to the scene had they asked her. While the incident took place more than three decades ago, the interview has sparked controversy on social media as many have demanded actor Kamal Haasan to apologise to Rekha including singer Chinmayi Sripada who is an advocate of the #MeToo movement. Big B to SRK: Bollywood welcomes new year with words of wisdom and hope

<p>Bollywood superstar and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday was conferred the <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/bollywood-superstar-amitabh-bachchan-receives-dadasaheb-phalke-award-270862">Dadasaheb Phalke Award</a> by President Ram Nath Kovind.</p>

<p>After accepting the award, Bachchan said that when his name was announced for the prestigious award, he thought that it was time for him to sit at home but he feels that he isn't done just yet and that some more work is left for him to complete.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When my name was announced for the award, there rose a doubt in my heart. I thought, is this a sign indicating that I have done enough and that it is time for me to sit at home and rest? There's still work left which I have to complete," Bachchan said.&nbsp;</p>
