In his apology, Subramaniam cited stress as the reason for his misbehaviour. Team India manager further added that he was also sleep deprived when the incident occurred.

Subramaniam was appointed as Team India's manager in 2017 for two years. However, it's not clear if he will now be allowed to contest for the position of manager -- the appointment is set to happen by the end of this month.

"If Ombudsman (sees any conflict), we will have our response going to the Ombudsman why there is no conflict. He has to consider (it). It's a process…and the process will continue," he added.&nbsp;

Earlier, Dravid was&nbsp;served a notice by BCCI's Ethics Officer after Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) member Sanjeev Gupta levelled conflict of interest allegations against the former Indian cricketer.&nbsp;

In his complaint, Gupta alleged that Dravid works as the chief of NCA and he is also employed as vice-president of India Cements group, which owns IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).&nbsp;

Besides clearing Dravid's name, Thogde also talked about the future plans for the NCA and backed Dravid's appointment as the head.&nbsp;

"In NCA, there are a few things that need to be done. There are shortage of grounds, they require certain positions, certain people to be employed and certain coaches," said Thogde.&nbsp;

"There has to be continuity," Thodge said.&nbsp;

"Once you select someone of Dravid’s stature, he has to ensure that the NCA comes up to that international standard. He has given his vision and we are fully in support of his vision. We will work together," he concluded.&nbsp;

No conflict of interest in Rahul Dravid's case, says CoA

Julaniya said that all sports are the same and&nbsp;everyone has to follow the same rules, "BCCI does not have discretion to say no," he added.&nbsp;

"I explained to them that you don't have discretion, you don't decide whether you'd follow the law or not. The law applies to all uniformly," he said. He made it clear that they could not make an exception for cricket.

Earlier, the BCCI had insisted&nbsp;on handling its doping analysis and sanctions in-house, rebuffing pressure from India's government and the World Anti-Doping Agency to come under the ambit of India's WADA-accredited national anti-doping body.&nbsp;

But the request has been turned down.&nbsp;

"NADA, as and when it wants to test, will carry out the tests like it does with all other athletes," Julaniya said.

"The WADA code gives the authority to the national anti-doping agency to carry out all testing in its territory, irrespective of the nationality of the athletes."

On the decision, BCCI's chief Johri, said, "We have to follow the law of the land &amp; BCCI is committed to follow the law that exists."

"We have raised quite a few issues which the sports secretary said will be addressed by them," he told reporters.

After the Central Government's decision to revoke Article 370 and bifurcate the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories, Committee of Administrators (COA) chief, Vinod Rai on Tuesday said that Jammu and Kashmir will continue to play as Jammu &amp; Kashmir and Ladakh will be a part of J&amp;K.

The chief also said that if Ladakh becomes a voting member of the BCCI, then the body would look into the matter and sort things out.

"Jammu and Kashmir would continue to be the Ranji team. Players from Ladakh would be the part of Jammu and Kashmir. If Ladakh becomes voting member, then we will see to it and sort it out," CoA chief Vinod Rai told ANI.

The government has bifurcated the state to create two union territories, but this revelation by the CoA chief indicates that the BCCI does not plan on creating a state body for the newest UT.

The upcoming Ranji Trophy season is scheduled to start in December later this year.

On August 4, Jammu and Kashmir cricket team mentor-cum-coach Irfan Pathan had revealed that he, along with around 100 other cricketers, were asked to leave the camp at the earliest.

This had come after the Jammu and Kashmir administration issued an advisory to tourists and Amarnath Yatris to leave the Valley immediately, citing a terror threat.

Speaking to ANI, Pathan had said, "Our camp has been shut down and the cricketers were sent back to their homes. The camp was from June 14 to July 14 and after a break of ten days, camp restarted from July 25. Yesterday, about 100 players were sent back to their home."

"The matches were scheduled from July 31 and will last till August 17. These matches were organised for the selection of district cricketers," he had added.

The 34-year-old, who was appointed as the mentor-cum-coach of the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team on July 1 last year, had said that the support staff was also asked to leave the state.

Ambati Rayudu on Wednesday made a decision to step away from cricket and retired from all forms and levels of the game.

In a letter to the BCCI, former India middle-order batsman said, "I have come to decision to step away from the sport and retire from all forms and levels of the game."

The 33-year-old expressed his gratitude to the national governing body for cricket and all the state associations including Hyderabad, Baroda, Andhra and Vidharbha, and IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians for their support.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the BCCI&nbsp;and all the state associations that I have represented which include Hyderabad, Baroda, Andhra and Vidharbha. I also would like to thank the two IPL franchises MI and CSK&nbsp;for their support," he continued.

"Our stand is very clear, we will conform to ICC norms. This is not a religious or a commercial message but I find that ICC has not allowed other players also for this kind of thing. We don`t suppose to escalate, we will go by ICC's norms absolutely," Rai told news agency ANI.

On the other hand, IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla said the ICC should reconsider its stand regarding the army insignia worn by MS Dhoni on his wicket-keeping gloves.
