The announcement for the coming series and star casting was made by the book writer Kirkman during a panel on Saturday at SkyBound Xpo, an annual convention hosted by Skybound Entertainment, Kirkman's publishing company.</p>

On Thursday, Indian filmmaker Shoojit Sircar announced that his upcoming film <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/confirmed-ayushmann-khurrana-amitabh-bachchans-gulabo-sitabo-to-directly-release-on-prime-video-on-this-date-298566">'Gulabo Sitabo' </a>featuring two big stars of Bollywood- Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan- would directly premiere on the OTT platform Amazon prime video. A move that was termed as 'bold' by industry pundits with many stating that it heralded a new change in Indian cinema.<br />

Close on the heels of 'Gulabo Sitabo', Amazon clenched the premiere rights of five other films for its OTT platform, including Vidya Balan's big summer release <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/after-gulabo-sitabo-vidya-balans-shakuntala-devi-headed-for-a-digital-premiere-298786">'Shakuntala Devi' </a>and Tamil film 'Ponmagal Vandhal'.<br />

How OTT and cinema halls can co-exist in post COVID world

<p>There are no signs of the lockdown ending anytime soon. The outbreak of coronavirus has ensured that most of the public spaces including cinema halls remain shit to curb the spread of the disease. Many filmmakers are now looking at digital premieres of summer releases.<br />

<p>There's a lot to like in the second season of Amazon Prime's 'Four More Shots Please'. The series has the famous four back, bonding over shots, men, love, sex and miseries of life. Season 2 picks up four months from where the first season ended. Umang(Bani J), Anjana (Kirti Kulhari) and Damini(Sayani Gupta) head to Istanbul to save their fourth friend Siddhi (Maanvi Gagroo) who has had a meltdown while travelling all across Europe.</p>

<p>The girls haven't spoken to each other since their last big fight four months ago, but for old times sake, they rush to save their girl-dressed in their designer, glamorous best of course. In Istanbul, after retrieving Siddhi from a 'nanga man', the four quickly kiss and makeup and enjoy a mini-vacation in Istanbul. When they head back, their personal issues still loom large and the girls decide to take them head-on, promising to watch each other's back.</p>

Siddhi is tried of traveling on her mother's money and now wants to have a proper profession and make amends to her relationship with her father and Damini is all set to publish a book on a dead (murdered?) judge even as she enjoys a no string attached relationship with her gynecologist (Milind Soman).</p>

<p><strong>What works</strong></p>

<p>It's always good to watch women telling women's stories. Written by Devika Bhagat and directed by veteran Nupur Asthana, 'Four More Shots Please' understands to a great extend the pulse of female bonding and avoids putting women in cliched boxes.</p>

<p>From self-love, to same-sex marriage to discovering one's calling, the girls grow up and take charge of their lives. While the first season too attempted to address similar issues, in the second season, these issues are far more defined and implemented.</p>

<p>Bani J and Lisa Ray's love track is handled sensitively keeping in mind to never make it over the top. I found their track the most engaging followed by Gagroo's journey of self discovery where a SOBO brat finds her calling in comedy and understands the importance of self-love. Both Gagroo and Bani J are the most effective in their parts- showing the vulnerability that comes with being in love, the insecurities of being plus-sized and more. The two actresses completely shine in their roles. Kirti Kulhari shows parks but unfortunately, her character's arch is so limited that she doesn't have much to do.</p>

<p><strong>What doesn't work</strong></p>

<p>A lot of Gagroo's initial insecurities seem out of the blue much like Kulhari's character who is never sure of what she wants in life. Sayani Gupta, as the fearless Damini also falters because of a weak character. Because it is about women, there are a lot of moments that seemed to tick the boxes much like the first one. So there are conversations about sexist bosses who for no real reason target the women, talk about using a tampon- which seemed to have been forcefully included in the narrative, and even some of the initial war of words between Gagroro and Prabal Punjabi's characters. The two play stand up comedians, but jokes are not funny neither is there any chemistry between them.</p>

<p>Ultimately, the problems that most of these women are facing are extremely first world and one can't overlook the fact that the season looks at urban women and their problems through tinted glasses.</p>

<p><strong>There are men too...</strong></p>

<p>....and very gorgeous men if I may add. Milind Soman and Prateik Babbar reprise their characters from Season 1 as Damini's love interests. There is Prabal Punjabi who is delightful as the struggling stand-up comedian. Pity that his and Garoo's onscreen chemistry doesn't do much to the story. On the other hand, Samir Kochar and Kirti Kulhari make for a very hot couple. Their office romance adds the oomph in this season.</p>

But some hilarious moments courtesy Gagroo, some genuine heart-to-heart conversation between the girls, gorgeous locales like Udaipur and Istanbul make this for an easy binge-watch.</p>

She is extremely relaxed and doesn’t care about anything else, even her official duties are handled by her husband, who regards himself as the unofficial Pradhan of the village. She is a simple housewife who is only concerned about family responsibilities like cooking a good meal for her husband, getting her daughter married, and is quite content with it.''</p>

<p>She further added that “The only time her character actually is affected by the situation is when Abhishek (played by Jitendra Kumar) taunts her about the fact that the other Pradhans are doing their jobs and she isn’t. Even after the humiliating conversation, she doesn’t rebel or exhibit her anger but handles the situation very calmly. She feels rather ashamed and tries to do something about it. And that’s my character’s arch. The way the entire scene is written, it says a lot about the character without hitting you in the head. This one scene was the most captivating and impactful moment for my character and made me say yes to the role immediately.”</p>

The story, of course, focuses on Abhishek and his life in the village but in his reluctance and self-interest he ends up becoming a crusader, solving issues, breaking myths and even dismissing age-old folklore. Not once does the narrative turn preachy but the screenplay by Chandan Kumar is nuanced and subtle driving home some relevant points and avoiding to sound like sermons.</p>

<p>The writing is very effective. It fills up the narrative with sweet, humourous moments and never drags. You feel Abhishek's frustration at being stuck in a village which shuts down at 7 in the evening, you feel his anguish when he goes on a rant about he doesn't feel connected to the place, you smile when the Pradhan and his two aids set up a mini picnic in the middle of a forest to brighten up Abhishek's Saturday night and you nod in agreement when the woman of the house suddenly bursts out about how painful it is two have more than two children. There are so many issues that the series takes up, and all beautifully included in the narrative.</p>

<p>Watch out for the moments where Abhishek takes on an egoistic groom, the time the group of four get involved in a 'gang war' and the episode involving a revolving chair. Some beautiful, funny moments tucked into a story full of warmth.</p>

<p>Asked by a reporter if the incident was "anything more than a plane crash," Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Perrye Turner said, "that's what we have right now."</p>

<p>The plane crashed at the north end of Trinity Bay near the small city of Anahuac, about 32 kilometres southeast of the airport around 12.40 pm after taking off from Miami.</p>

<p>"This is a sad time for all of us," Bill Flynn, Atlas Air's chief executive officer, said in a statement. "Our team continues to work closely with the NTSB, the FAA and local authorities on the ground in Houston."</p>

<p>Atlas Air Worldwide has been operating Boeing 767 freighters on behalf of Amazon following a 2016 deal.</p>

<p>Boeing said in a statement that it had sent a team to provide technical assistance to the NTSB as it conducted its investigation.</p>

<p>Amazon has also reached out to smaller leagues such as Major League Soccer, the Atlantic Coast Conference, college sports network Campus Insiders, 120 Sports, National Lacrosse League, Major League Lacrosse and World Surf League for game rights, according to the Journal.</p>

<p>The company has also contacted traditional TV networks for game rights they are not using, the report said.</p>

<p>Among those approached include Univision Communications for Mexican football league games, Walt Disney Co&#39;s ESPN and ONE World Sports, the report said.</p>
