<p>Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are putting separation rumours to rest. On Friday (Dec 20), Aish and Abhishek appeared together for the second consecutive day at their daughter Aaradhya's annual day event. </p></p>
<p>A day after the couple stepped out with Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan, they had again made a joint appearance. But, today they were accompanied by Aish's mother Brinda Rai. </p>
<p>As per the videos going viral, the couple arrived at the venue together. In a clip, the <em>Guru</em> actor was seen stepping out of his vehicle, followed by his wife Aish and her mother Brinda. </p>
<p>Aish held her mother's hands as she and Abhishek escorted her and they walked inside the venue. In the clip, Abhishek is dressed in an olive-green co-ord set with a blue shirt. While Aishwarya wore an all-black outfit comprising of a black shirt and jeggings. Her signature red lipstick was the highlight of her look.</p>

Abhishek and Aishwarya shut divorce rumours, step out for Aaradhya's school event

<p>On Thursday (Dec 20), Bollywood stars were out on parents' duty. Celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out in the city to attend their kids' annual school function. </p>
<p>Several photos and videos from the star-studded spectacle have taken the internet by storm. However, the one clip that has garnered a lot of attention online is of stars grooving to the song ''Deewangi Deewangi'' from SRK's film <em>Om Shanti Om. </em></p>
<p>In a video shared widely on social media, Khan can be seen dancing with the other school students. Abhishek and Aishwarya were also seen grooving in the crowd, apparently after the annual function had wrapped up. </p></p>

Celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out in the city to attend their kids' annual school function. Several photos and videos from the star-studded spectacle have taken the internet by storm. However, the one clip that has garnered a lot of attention online is of stars grooving to the song ''Deewangi Deewangi'' from SRK's film Om Shanti Om. In a video shared widely on social media, Khan can be seen dancing with the other school students. Abhishek and Aishwarya were also seen grooving in the crowd, apparently after the annual function had wrapped up. <p>Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are putting separation rumours to rest. On Friday (Dec 20), Aish and Abhishek appeared together for the second consecutive day at their daughter Aaradhya's annual day event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A day after the couple stepped out with Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan, they had again made a joint appearance. But, today they were accompanied by Aish's mother Brinda Rai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the videos going viral, the couple arrived at the venue together. In a clip, the <em>Guru</em> actor was seen stepping out of his vehicle, followed by his wife Aish and her mother Brinda.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Aish held her mother's hands as she and Abhishek escorted her and they walked inside the venue. In the clip, Abhishek is dressed in an olive-green co-ord set with a blue shirt. While Aishwarya wore an all-black outfit comprising of&nbsp;a black shirt and jeggings. Her signature red lipstick was the highlight of her look.</p>

At the core of the drama is Abhishek Bachchan, who steps in the shoes of Hemant Shah, a stockbroker, who gets the taste of the stock market after finding himself in a tight spot and later, takes it upon himself to ‘rebuild a country on the brink of bankruptcy. The makers try hard to present Hemant as the middle-class rebellious soul who wants to revolutionise the country by finding loopholes in the working of the banking sector.</p>

Often called the messiah of the common man, Hemant referred to himself as the 'Big Bull' or like he said, "He was, is and will always be the Big Bull." As suggested by the title, the film is his story, told by the journalist who nearly ruins his life.</p>

Nikita Dutta’s presence in the film is as confusing as the script, barely-there without evoking any emotions. As his brother and right-hand, Sohum Shah is passable and Ileana D'Cruz, who plays news reporter Meera Rao, will make you question your own dedication as a journalist. It's difficult, for once, to figure out if she’s a print journalist or a broadcast journalist. (or maybe it’s just the journalism fraternity finding flaws)</p>

<p>As for Ram Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Samir Soni, they are as effortless as they come in their parts. Wish the makers could've used more of them, but then there’s only so much you can do in a lazy script and equally lazy execution.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Had better editing and shorter duration made it a better watch? Maybe. A one-minute montage on Carry Minati’s song would have sufficed the film. This film is a huge bore on every front possible. The only request to the filmmakers now is to use the brilliance of Abhishek Bachchan. It’s high time we put him out of the Guru persona, there’s so much about him to like, it always falls an inch short mostly because of the execution.</p>

<p>After making us wait for 2 years, Amazon Prime's 'Breathe' is back with its second season! 'Breathe: Into the Shadows' marks the digital debut of both its lead characters. Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan steps into the OTT space, following the footsteps of many in the film industry. It also marks the digital debut of Malayalam actress Nithya Menen who was last seen in 'Mission Mangal,' which was also her debut in Bollywood. Mayank Sharma once again returns as the director of the show and the episodes are approximately 40 minutes long.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The plot is summed up by the show's tagline- “a father’s love can save a life.. or take one." Someone has kidnapped Dr. Avinash (Abhishek Bachchan) and Abha's (Nitya Menon) 6-year-old daughter-Siya. Their daughter is also a juvenile diabetic patient and needs insulin injections four times a day. After establishing no contact for almost 9 months, the kidnapper starts sending puzzling messages, asking the couple to execute some killings to save their daughter. One thing which really stood out in the narrative was that unlike the cliche roles we are used to seeing, here both Avinash and Abha were truly equal partners in crime. From figuring out the cryptic messages to planning the killing and even executing them, 'Breathe S2' is never a one-man show.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>On a parallel subplot, we get to see Kabir Sawant (Amit Sadh), who reprises his role from the previous season as a police officer. Unlike the last time, he is no longer seen with an alcohol bottle in every other frame and has taken a transfer from the Mumbai Crime Branch to Delhi. The first appearance of the character is in jail, leaving us all in shock.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For the creators, it is always more challenging to impress the audience with the second season. The task becomes even harder when the previous one was appreciated by the audience. Which explains why 'Breathe season 2'&nbsp;falls under the cracks. From the first few episodes, one would realise that the 'wow factor' was blisteringly lacking.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The show's biggest enemy was&nbsp;its expectation. In case you haven't seen the first season, you might just get more impressed.</p>

Other than the average acting, the plot rushed into the narration of events rather than displaying their emotions when the scenes demanded. For instance, as a viewer when the couple found out that their child was missing, one would have liked to see more of what they were feeling at that moment. Even the aspect of inner consciousness after each of the killings was just not impactful-&nbsp; maybe even missing. Honestly, there was no dialogue or scene which actually stays with the viewer after the episodes are over.</p>

<p>It was not only the emotional aspect that's missing, but even the mystery and suspense created is not that great. What the audience expects from a thriller are nail-biting scenes and gripping plot points but we bearly get to see any of that. In fact, the subplot of Kabir Sawant was much more interesting than the main one. Sadh's acting, his character's on the spot thinking and witty retorts were a pleasure to watch on screen. This season completely belongs to Amit Sandh, who saves this ship from sinking. Whatever little mystery and drama we get from the show is courtesy Kabir Sawant.</p>

<p>The narrative of the plot is more or less flat, with not-so-complicated or surprising twists and turns. They fail to keep you hooked on to the show. A part of the reason is that the killings and planning that went behind it, turn out to be extremely predictable. On the contrary, the first season boasted of clever and innovative writing, making Danny Mascarenhas' (Madhavan) next move&nbsp;unforeseeable. However, here that element in writing just seems to be missing.</p>

<p>At the end we are left with a few questions:&nbsp;</p>

<p>Who kidnapped Siya? Will she ever come back to her parents? How far will her parents go to save her? Is there any link between the killings?</p>

<p>In a statement, the director Anurag said, “It is my pleasure to be working with Bhushan Kumar for my next that is a dark comic anthology. It’s our first collaboration but doesn’t seems like one. I am extremely happy to have found this talented new generation cast, though I will trust my old friend Pritam for music as always.”</p>

<p>On working with Abhishek, Anurag said, “I am glad that he said ‘yes’ as after writing a few scenes, I could imagine Abhishek doing this film. Even he agreed after reading those few scenes. I really like his work. He is a nice man. He should get his due as he is an amazing actor. I was looking for an opportunity to work with him and finally got it.”</p>

<p>Anurag has started work on the film and has shot major sequences with Abhishek in Mumbai and Kolkata, as per a release. He has also shot with Rajkummar and Fatima in Bhopal earlier this year.&nbsp;</p>

The film will now clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ that will release on February 21. However, with the March date, it is now expected to clash with Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena biopic, 'Kargil Girl'. The film is yet-to-be-titled and will also feature actors Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Pankaj Tripathi. In a statement, the director Anurag said, “It is my pleasure to be working with Bhushan Kumar for my next that is a dark comic anthology. It’s our first collaboration but doesn’t seems like one. I am extremely happy to have found this talented new generation cast, though I will trust my old friend Pritam for music as always.” On working with Abhishek, Anurag said, “I am glad that he said ‘yes’ as after writing a few scenes, I could imagine Abhishek doing this film. Even he agreed after reading those few scenes. I really like his work. He is a nice man. He should get his due as he is an amazing actor. I was looking for an opportunity to work with him and finally got it.” Anurag has started work on the film and has shot major sequences with Abhishek in Mumbai and Kolkata, as per a release. He has also shot with Rajkummar and Fatima in Bhopal earlier this year. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Anurag Basu, Tani Somarita Basu, and Krishan Kumar.

<p>“Seeking or rather informing parents that we were a group of friends going to England .. who all are going came the query from Babuji .. names disclosed .. Jaya is also going with you .. you both are alone .. yes .. if you have to go marry and go,”the actor recalled in his blog.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Amitabh and Jaya decided to tie the knot the very next day and take their flight to London the same night.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I dress up in formal marriage Indian .. get into my car and want to drive to Malabar Hill where her friends lived and where the ceremony was to be done .. my driver Nagesh, pushes me out and insist he would drive me to the wedding .. the substitute for the tradition horse... off I went .. wedding over in a few hours .. done .. Mr and Mrs proclaimed .. over !!" he further wrote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The couple has two children- Shweta Bachchan and actor Abhishek Bachchan. In fact, on Monday, Abhishek posted a photo of his parents as he wished them on their anniversary.&nbsp;</p>

Abhishek revealed that it is heartbreaking for him as an actor who has been at the centre stage to move away.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Abhishek said, "It is heartbreaking to any actor who has been centre stage to be shadowed by another actor in the lead."</p>

<p>"The industry is a brutal place. I don't think anyone is entitled to say that I am who I am so I deserve this. No, you have to earn it. Moving from centre to left is heartbreaking but you have to use that hurt to inspire yourself to get back into the centre again," he added.</p>

<p>Before ‘Manmarziyaan’, Abhishek featured in ‘Housefull 3’, that was two years ago. On taking a long gap between the films, Abhishek said, " I don't think it was the pressure of what was happening. Rather it was more about my approach towards my work which I thought was incorrect. I was becoming very complacent and comfortable.''</p>
