The illness damaged her right leg and foot and left her with a limp and this was just the beginning of a life full of setbacks, one that Frida immortalised in her work.

In 1922, Frida became one of the first female students to attend the national preparatory school and wanted to be a doctor. However, three years later her life changed when travelling with her boyfriend she met with an accident. She was just 18 years old when she fractured her spine and pelvis and was hospitalised for several weeks which turned into months. While being confined to bed, Frida turned to art.

In 1929, she married Muralist Diego Rivera. The marriage was far from a happy as Frida was saddened by Rivera's infidelities when she found out about her husband's affair with her sister, Kahlo chopped off her trademark long hair. It was her response to family betrayal but there was no end to her heartbreaks. She miscarried in 1934 and divorced her husband, only to marry him again a year later.

They lived separate lives and had numerous affairs. The tumult of the relationship made its way to Kahlo's canvas. In her painting--"Frieda and Diego Rivera' the couple is seen in a rather formal pose - a moment captured just two years into their marriage.

“The first designations will cover those individuals involved in the torture and murder of Sergei Magnitsky, the lawyer who disclosed the biggest known tax fraud in Russian history,"&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; foreign minister Dominic Raab said, adding, "the designations will also include those responsible for the brutal murder of the writer and journalist Jamal Khashoggi."

The list also includes 25 Russian nationals and individuals from North Korea accused of human rights violations. The list is a result of post-Brexit sanctions regime called the 2018 Sanctions Act.

Khashoggi was allegedly killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul two year ago when he had entered the premises to collect papers he needed for his marriage. The UK list names Saud al-Qahtani who is believed to be closely involved&nbsp;in Khashoggi's killing.

"These sanctions are a forensic tool, they allow us to target perpetrators without punishing the wider people of a country that may be affected," Raab said.

Sanctions against the individuals would involve their assets would be frozen and they would be disallowed to travel to the UK.

"Today this Government and this House sends a very clear message on behalf of the British people that those with blood on their hands, the thugs of despots, the henchman of dictators will not be free to waltz into this country to buy up property on the King's Road, to do their Christmas shopping in Knightsbridge or frankly to siphon dirty money through British banks or other financial institutions," Raab said.

Delhi crosses 1 lakh coronavirus cases; Maharashtra records over 9,000 deaths

The Odisha government on&nbsp;Monday allowed the counter sale of country&nbsp;liquor, as per a notification.

Over-the-counter sale of&nbsp;liquor and extra neutral alcohol (ENA)-based liquor have been allowed from Tuesday in non-containment zones, it said.

The home delivery of the country liquor, which was allowed from July 1, will also continue, it added.

Shops will remain open from 7 am to 6 pm and the consumption of liquor inside the premises of the stores will not be allowed.

In order to regulate the crowd, the retailers will have to erect barricades wherever required, and also employ additional manpower with specific responsibility to ensure regulation of queue, maintenance of social distancing norms by the customers, the notification said.

The retailers have also been asked to ensure that all the staff in their shops use a face mask.

The shops have been asked not to sell liquor to those without masks and violating social distancing norms.

Local police and excise department staff will remain watchful and district magistrates are authorised to close the shops in case of any violation, it said.

Foreign liquor shops were allowed to operate from July 1 from 7 am to 6 pm.

The United States has reported over 129, 947 deaths due to the virus with several states including Texas and California experiencing new outbreak.

Several states in the US cancelled the annual fireworks displays on July 4 due to the virus outbreak. At least 15 US states have reported record increases in coronavirus cases.

Florida, Arizona have been hit with rising cases in the past month worrying&nbsp;officials&nbsp;and putting health services under severe strain.

In Florida's Miami beach hospitalizations have reportedly doubled in the last 14 days with states like South Carolina, Alabama, Nevada, Texas, Georgia, Idaho and Kansas reporting huge surge in cases.

Amid the rising cases, however, &nbsp;Trump claimed that 99 per cent of COVID-19 cases in the United States were "totally harmless."

According to Johns Hopkins coronavirus tracker, the US recorded 39,379 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours along with 234 fatalities on Monday.

Pakistan Army said that five civilians including two boys and two elderly people were injured after firing along&nbsp;the Line of Control(LoC) in the Nikial sector.

"There has been no interruption in the work of the enrichment site and no damage to the site."

The governor of Natanz city, Ramazanali Ferdosi, said the incident caused a fire but he gave no further details about the cause, the Tasnim news agency reported. Experts from the Atomic Energy Organisation are investigating.

Some experts did not rule out the possibility of sabotage given the importance of the Natanz nuclear site.

"Considering that this so-called incident happened just a few days after the explosion near the Parchin military base, the possibility of a sabotage cannot be ruled out," a former Iranianian nuclear official told Reuters.

Iran says it will not negotiate as long as sanctions remain in place.
