I called my friend and asked him to stop him before he rode away."</p>

<p>In the footage that the woman posted on her social media platform, a man could be seen shielding his face from the camera and confessing to his act.&nbsp;</p>

The coastguard said it had rescued two people alive out of an 11-member crew. It consisted of two South Koreans, including the captain, a Chinese national, and eight Indonesians.</p>

<p>The rescue operation started after a distress call reached the Japan Coast Guard. It was communicated that due to the severe weather conditions, the ship was leaning to protect itself from any danger.</p>

<p>However, by the time rescuers reached the scene, the vessel had overturned and&nbsp;completely&nbsp;capsized. The exact cause of the incident remains unknown at the moment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The visuals of the unfortunate incident were also depicted vividly in footage aired on NHK television, media reports said. The footage showed the&nbsp;boat in the turbulent waves and the boat's red underside against the swirling waters.</p>

<p>Ahmedabad Police Chief GS Mallik and Gujarat University Vice-Chancellor Neerja Gupta visited the hostel on Sunday (Mar 17) morning upon learning about the incident. Gupta mentioned that there used to be some already existing issues between the involved parties.</p>

<p>“Nine teams have been formed (to probe the incident). One accused has been identified and the police will arrest (all) the accused,” he reportedly said.</p>

<p>The international students were from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and&nbsp;Uzbekistan, reports said adding that the students were attacked while offering late-night prayers.</p>

The incident led to a scuffle and violence.<br />

Mob allegedly assaults foreign students at Gujarat University over location for Ramadan prayers

<p>A property dealer met a gruesome end at a highway restaurant near Pune, as captured by CCTV cameras. Avinash Balu Dhanve (34) fell victim to a fatal attack orchestrated by assailants suspected to be part of a rival gang, leading to a horrifying scene on the Pune-Solapur highway. The place of the incident was nearly 140 kilometres from Pune.</p>

<p>The assault unfolded amidst the presence of bystanders. This included a family with children as two perpetrators barged into the eatery. Dhanve was sitting with three associates and was engrossed in a phone call&nbsp;when he&nbsp;was ruthlessly shot in the head by a man in a yellow T-shirt and his aide.</p>

<p>The act was caught on CCTV cameras where the man in yellow T-shirt was seen taking the gun out of a white bag.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As soon as the bullets were fired, it prompted chaos. The associates of the property dealer fled the scene immediately.</p>

<p>Later, a group of six more attackers stormed into the restaurant and engaged in more violent attacks on the shot man. One of the attackers was wielding a machete to hack Dhanve. Meanwhile, others were also caught brandishing machetes in the footage now going viral on social media platform.</p>

<p>"Adhoori hasrato ka ilzaam, har baar hum par lagaana theek nahi, wafa khud se nahi hoti, khataa EVM ki kahete ho, aur baad mein jab parinaam aata hai toh uspe kaayam bhi nahi rahte (pointing fingers at us (EVMs) for your unmet desires every time isn't fair. You can't assure faithfulness to yourself, yet you persist in faulting EVMs. Then, when the outcome pours in, you refuse to acknowledge it.)</p>

<p>The comment by CEC, where he spoke of faithfulness, appeared to be taking a swipe&nbsp;at leaders changing parties, something that often sparks debates and raises questions over their sincerity. <p>He stressed the commission's commitment to transparency. "In democracy, there is no scope for hiding things, it is all about making everybody know, we are all for transparency. This is the first part of the exercise that it must be known, the country now has to ask and find solutions through an institutional mechanism where the donor's privacy is also considered," he said.</p>

<p>Kumar added, "The unaccounted money which is used in the elections... during the elections we are very particular to control it but how do we also control the donations in the unaccounted form is something which the entire nation needs to work together... the donor's privacy is also protected so he is not harassed, how the money is channelised and how it is more and more white."</p>
