Experts are worried that the longer it stays in fresh water, away from its natural cold, icy water habitat, the lower will be its chances of survival.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When quizzed about the health of the mammal, authorities said that studies were underway. “Studies of its health are underway to determine the best measures to take to ensure its chances of survival,” said officials in the Eure department of Normandy.</p>

<p>The authorities also added that it is rare for a beluga to stray into these parts but sometimes during migration, a lone whale can lose its way and end up here.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reportedly, the public has been advised to not approach the beluga whale as it will cause unnecessary stress to it.</p>

<p>It is believed that an adult beluga can reach up to four metres (13 feet) in length. They are found throughout the Arctic Ocean and its adjoining seas, including the Sea of Okhotsk, the Bering Sea, Hudson Bay and several other spots.</p>

<p>Earlier this week, a group of approximately 55,000 beluga whales started their migration to the shallow waters of Hudson Bay. It is stated that beluga's that spend their summer months in Hudson bay often migrate north during the winter season for the open bay.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A dog miraculously survived being shot in the head after fleeing his breeding farm and going missing in the US. The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) shared photos of the corgi named Arthur, on Instagram and shared the dog's story in the caption.</p>

<p>"Arthur is fortunate to be alive. That is not an exaggeration," PSPCA said in the post. Arthur was discovered crawling under a fence in the rural town of New Holland, Lancaster County, according to the organization.</p>

<p>Initially, the property owners told PSPCA that the fence caused the injured dog's head wound. Vets later determined that he had been shot between the eyes and left for dead.</p>

Recently, the pair of sisters celebrated their 103rd birthday on Wednesday (August 3), supposedly making&nbsp;them the oldest British twins. However, they also shared their secret for leading such a long life.</p>

<p>While Thelma joked that her longevity was down to her love for food, Elma stated that she always enjoyed her glass of brandy, which should be served without ice. Elma also added that she enjoys a nice glass of lemonade every now and then.</p>

<p>Kept apart for over two years due to the pandemic, the sisters gathered with their families to celebrate their birthdays. Reportedly, Stockport's Mayor David Wilson also attended the celebrations and called the milestone 'incredible'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's so wonderful. I didn't expect all this. It feels great. I'm happy," said Elma, before her sister, Thelma added, "It's lovely to be together because we don't get together very often."</p>

<p>Tory leaders Tom Tugendhat and Iain Duncan Smith were the ones who first raised the issue by writing a letter demanding the account be taken down. Soon, other Tory leaders became signatories to the letter.
