<p>"Given yesterday's announcement of a new national day of action against pension reform on Tuesday, March 28, in France, the visit of King Charles III, initially scheduled for March 26 to 29 in our country, will be postponed," read the statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"This decision was taken by the French and British governments, after a telephone exchange between the President of the Republic and the King this morning, in order to be able to welcome His Majesty King Charles III under conditions which correspond to our relationship of friendship," it added.&nbsp;</p>

Subsequently, the entrance to the town hall in Bordeaux was set alight, forcing the administration to chalk up new plans.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"All five men were arrested by specialist AFP and Queensland Police Service members shortly after the plane arrived at the Monto airstrip on Tuesday afternoon (March 21, 2023). Police located and seized five duffle bags concealed in the plane, containing about 52 kg methamphetamine," read the police report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police released a statement adding that pilots Bernard Hamilton-Alexander, 51 and his co-pilot, John Horvath, 52 took off from Wilton, a rural area south of Sydney on Monday. They took a pitstop at Monto to refuel before landing in the town of Bulolo in Papua New Guinea.&nbsp;</p>

Four of the five men arrested, all from the state of New South Wales have already been produced before the magistrates' court. The final perpetrator is expected to be produced before the court on Thursday (March 23).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police added that the men charged were Transnational Serious Organised Crime (TSOC) members who routinely handled the import of methamphetamine to rural Queensland from PNG.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"If you look at the size of this attempted importation that was essentially stopped, you're talking about 520,000 individual hits or deals. These men have not only allegedly imported a dangerous drug into Australia, but flying at low altitude without proper instructions poses a huge safety risk for other aircraft," said&nbsp;Detective Chief Superintendent Jason Weinstein</p>

<p>Two inmates in the US state of Virginia managed to achieve freedom for a few hours and taste delicious IHOP pancakes before being chauffeured back by the jail authorities. The incident transpired earlier this week in the Newport News Jail Annex when inmates John Garza, 37, and Arley Nemo, 43, took a leaf out of the movie Shawshank Redemption to chart their escape.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the Newport News Sheriff's Office (NNSO), the inmates using 'primitive tools' managed to dig a hole in their cell wall and later scaled the prison wall to complete a daring escape. During the routine prisoners count check in the evening around 7 PM, the authorities realised that the two inmates were missing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After escaping the prison, the two made their way to a nearby IHOP, located seven miles away in the town of Hampton. There, the duo opted to have a hearty dinner/breakfast of pancakes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The opposition leaders were quick to pounce on Sunak with labour leader Angela Rayner saying Sunak paid less tax than the working people.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"(The returns) reveal a tax system designed by successive Tory governments in which the Prime Minister pays a far lower tax rate than working people who face the highest tax burden in 70 years," said Rayner.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile,&nbsp;Christine Jardine MP, the Liberal Democrat Cabinet Office spokesperson said the timing of the release of the report was suspicious as former PM Boris Johnson was under pressure for his partygate exploits.&nbsp;</p>
