<p>The move was welcomed by&nbsp;Italy's agricultural association Coldiretti which organised a flash mob&nbsp;in central Rome with the message 'no to synthetic food'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Italy, which is a European leader in food quality and safety, has a duty to be at the forefront of food policies to defend citizens and businesses," said&nbsp;Ettore Prandini, the organisation's president.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the detractors of the move slammed the government for shutting down an entire industry that was still in its infancy. According to&nbsp;Alice Ravenscroft, head of policy at the Good Food Institute Europe, the legislation was holding back 'scientific progress'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The passing of such a law would shut down the economic potential of this nascent field in Italy, holding back scientific progress and climate mitigation efforts," said Ravenscroft.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meloni's government has injected the feeling of nationalism into the food debate as well. She has pledged to protect the country and its food habits from technological innovations that are seen as harmful. In a related move, her administration renamed the agriculture ministry to the "ministry for agriculture and food sovereignty".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Miners in the Central African country of the Democratic Republic of Congo had a narrow escape after a gold mine collapsed, leaving several men trapped inside it. A video now going viral on social media platforms shows nine miners popping out of the mine while one of their daredevil colleagues, defied the odds by digging with his bare hands to rescue them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The video starts with two men standing at the face of the artisanal mine located in South Kivu province with debris and rock falling from above, indicating there had been a landslide, following heavy rain. The first man, using a shovel manages to keep the mouth of the mine open while a trapped miner makes his way out with the onlookers cheering wildly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As soon as the first miner comes out, the other person leaps and begins dredging with his hands to ensure that the others can make it out in time. Soon another one appears, and then another and astonishingly nine men make it out alive and well within the next two minutes.&nbsp;</p>

The first man, using a shovel manages to keep the mouth of the mine open while a trapped miner makes his way out with the onlookers cheering wildly. As soon as the first miner comes out, the other person leaps and begins dredging with his hands to ensure that the others can make it out in time. Soon another one appears, and then another and astonishingly nine men make it out alive and well within the next two minutes. <p>Tsukuru Fors, the co-founder of TRAN in an interview stated that this year, the 'Trans Day of Visibility' had been given an altered moniker of&nbsp;'Trans Day of Vengeance' because 'visibility' alone was no longer enough.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We are calling for Trans Day of Vengeance. Vengeance means fighting back with vehemence. It is our battle cry to declare to the world that we the transgender/non-binary communities will neither be silenced nor eradicated. And we are calling to our allies, members of other marginalised communities to make themselves known and to fight with us,"&nbsp;Fors was quoted as saying by Struggle La Lucha.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Some reports also claimed that the group was raising money for firearms training for the group members.&nbsp;The Twitter handle of the account has been locked with tweets only visible to the followers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nashville Chief of Police John Drake informed that there were going to be shootings at multiple locations, with the school being one of them, according to the initial reading of the recovered manifesto.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We have a manifesto, we have some writings that we're going over that pertain to this date. We have a map drawn out of how this was all gonna take place. We know there were two AR-style weapons. One a rifle, another was an AR-style pistol, and the other was a handgun. We believe two of those may have been obtained legally, locally,” the police chief told the media.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a legal filing, the Elon Musk-owned company claimed that 'various excerpts' of its source code, used to run the company online were posted on GitHub, a Microsoft-owned platform by a user named 'FreeSpeechEnthusiast'.</p>

<p>The microblogging platform has requested US District Court for the Northern District of California to order Github to produce all information associated with the said user who posted the code without authorisation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Twitter filed the complaint last Friday and GitHub has since taken down the post. However, it remains unclear if the platform will be giving up the identity of the user.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Twitter's internal investigation, the perpetrator responsible for the leak may have been a disgruntled employee who left the San Franciso-based company last year.&nbsp;</p>
