Zahid Badroodien, an official in the mayor’s office in charge of water and sanitation took to X and said that investigators confirmed that the source of the smell “across the city is a ship in the harbour”. &nbsp;

Gila monsters are a kind of venomous reptile which can be found in the southwestern United States. Although their bites can be painful for people, generally they are not fatal.

According to experts, the last report of a human being dying because of the Gila monster bite was in 1930.

Criminal investigator with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Eric Harper said that they were asked to remove Gila monsters from the home after the incident.&nbsp;

For nearly 30 years, the crime remained unsolved until a review in 2022 in which Patel was charged with the woman's murder.&nbsp;

The DNA of the hair strand which was found in Koppel's ring matched with Patel while his connection to a bloody footprint discovered on a skirting board in the apartment was also established.

Patel had also figured out the bank card pin of Koppel during the attack and used the number for withdrawing money from her account, as per the allegations.

51-year-old Patel denied murdering her, however, he was unanimously convicted by a jury at the Old Bailey.&nbsp;

UK-based maritime security firm Ambrey had earlier reported that a Greek-flagged, US-owned bulk carrier was attacked twice in two hours in the Gulf of Aden.

The bulk carrier reported a “missile attack” before another projectile hit the water just metres from the ship, said Ambrey. Meanwhile, the Royal Navy’s UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), said the ship’s master reported “evidence of shrapnel and damage to paintwork”.&nbsp;

The attack on “two American ships” claimed by Houthis also came a day after the militant group severely damaged a Belize-flagged Rubymar ship travelling through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait that connects the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, forcing the crew to abandon the vessel.

Speaking about the car, Kim's sister Yo Jong said the "gift serves as a clear demonstration of the special personal relations between the top leaders" of the two countries, added KCNA.

<h2>Kim Jong Un's love for cars</h2>

Kim is known for his affinity for lavish automobiles.

He has been seen using luxury cars, which include Lexus SUVs and Mercedes-Benz S-Class models.

According to a 2021 UN report, there was an attempted shipment of luxury vehicles, worth more than $1 million, to North Korea.&nbsp;

The list of luxury vehicles included models allegedly sent from the United Arab Emirates to Ningbo, China.

South Korea's unification ministry said that the gift from Putin, which they had classed as a luxury vehicle and was given as a gift to Kim, was a violation of UN sanctions.

"We condemn North Korea for its brazen attitude of publicly disclosing violations of the UN sanctions," said a ministry official, while speaking to the reporters.

"Russia should also be aware of its responsibility as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and stop an act that undermines international norms," the official said.

When Kim visited Russia last year, Putin had offered him the back seat of his presidential Aurus Senat limousine.

Kim had reached Moscow with his Maybach limousine, which had travelled on a special train from North Korea.&nbsp;

Lower elevation areas are predicted to receive two to five inches of rainfall while higher areas may get up to eight inches.

"Be prepared to sustain yourself and your household for multiple days if you choose not to evacuate, as you may not be able to leave the area and emergency responders may not be able to access your property in the event of road damage, flooding or debris," Santa Barabara County officials said in a press release Saturday.

The first round of rain began across central California early Saturday evening and the second storm Sunday was slow-moving, which will ramp up the potential for significant flooding.
