Without urgent action, yearly extreme heat waves await Europeans, EU agency says

"Fundamental solutions" are needed in the coming decade to avert uncontrolled climate change that could cause extreme heat waves in Europe, according to a report released on Wednesday (December 3) by the European Union Environmental Agency (EEA).
