WION Dispatch: India's Supreme court legalises abortion regardless of marital status
India’s Supreme court on Thursday upheld the right of a woman to an abortion up to 24 weeks into pregnancy regardless of marital status. The top court also added that forceful pregnancy of a married woman can be treated as marital rape for the purposes of abortion.
