WION Climate Tracker: Australia at risk of Japanese Encephalitis outbreak?

Warm temperatures combined with flood waters could leave upto 750,000 Australians vulnerable to the Japanese Encephalitis, a disease confined to Asia, northern Australia. Six out of 31infected people have died after the disease was detected in several hickories in southern Australia.
