Who is Vidisha Maitra?
The first secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Maitra holds the official designation of the Deputy Secretary (DS) of the Policy Planning and Research (PP&R) Division. An IFS officer of the 2008 batch, she was awarded the EAM's Ambassador Bimal Sanyal Memorial Prize Gold Medal Best Officer Trainee in 2009.
