Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has hit back at growing opposition to Visakhapatnam's upcoming data centres, calling it a "misinformation campaign" built on "false propaganda." Addressing concerns in the Assembly, Lokesh said building these data centres is key to India's digital sovereignty, especially as the country races to build its own AI infrastructure.
