Vancouver's Science World Transformed Into Giant FIFA World Cup Football

Vancouver's iconic Science World has undergone a spectacular transformation ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The city's famous geodesic dome has been wrapped to resemble a giant 40-metre Adidas Trionda match ball, creating a striking new landmark on the city's skyline. Dubbed the "Beautiful Dome," the installation is set to serve as the centerpiece of Vancouver's summer-long football and science celebrations as Canada gears up to co-host the biggest FIFA World Cup in history. The project highlights the growing excitement surrounding the tournament and the fusion of sport, culture and innovation.
