The Blue Sparrow missile, an Israeli air-launched ballistic weapon, has grabbed global attention after reports it was used in a strike on Tehran targeting Iran’s top leadership. Capable of flying to the edge of space before plunging back at hypersonic speed, the missile has a range of nearly 2,000 km and is extremely difficult for air defences to intercept.
