US-Iran war: US Sinks Iranian Warship In Indian Ocean Near Sri Lanka, Crew Casualties Reported |WION

The United States says it has sunk an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean near the waters off Sri Lanka.
According to US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, an American submarine carried out the strike on the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena. The attack reportedly took place in international waters.
Authorities in Sri Lanka say bodies have been recovered and wounded sailors rescued following the incident. Reports indicate the frigate had around 180 crew members onboard at the time of the strike.
The vessel was returning from an international fleet review held in Visakhapatnam, India, when it was struck. The incident comes amid escalating tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran across the region.
