Be it Galwan or Tawang, India – China’s skirmishes don’t seem to be heading towards a permanent halt as tensions continue brewing at the borders - but the US has been a keen observer all along. The US Pentagon Press Secretary referred to India as an 'ally’ and 'partner' and It was not a statement without deeper meaning.
