On Monday, December 9, South Korea’s chief of corruption investigations announced that he had ordered a travel ban on President Yoon Suk Yeol due to his recent martial law decree. The police were contemplating enforcing an overseas travel ban on President Yoon as part of their probe into potential rebellion charges stemming from his short-lived imposition of martial law last week.
