Germany’s Social Democratic Party (SPD) has emerged victorious in the Hamburg state elections, securing 33.5% of the vote. The CDU came in second with 19.8%, while the Greens slipped to third. The SPD-Green coalition is expected to continue. This win is a major boost for Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s party.
