In a landmark development for European travel Bulgaria and Romania are poised to join the Schengen Zone marking a significant expansion of the passport free travel area. Since their accession to the European Union in 2007, Both countries have awaited including inclusion in this border-free Zone with their entry over 400 million citizens will enjoy seamless travel across member states.
