Speaking for the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova cited a statement from a NATO summit that stated that "Russia remains the most significant and direct threat to Allies' security." She claimed all of it was untrue and that NATO was trying to 'justify its existence and strengthen Washington's control over European satellites'.
