A Russian drone has struck a 10-story apartment building in the Romanian city of Galați, causing an explosion that injured two residents and forced the evacuation of 70 people. This marks the first time a drone strike has caused injuries within Romanian territory, significantly escalating regional security fears along NATO’s eastern flank.
The attack, which damaged multiple vehicles and the building's infrastructure, occurred simultaneously with heavy strikes on the nearby Ukrainian port of Izmail.
