Reclaim the night: India seeks justice for rape victim on Independence Day eve

On the eve of India's 78th Independence Day, thousands took to the streets in various Indian cities to protest against the rape and murder of a Kolkata doctor. The movement, aptly called 'Reclaim the night' began in the Indian city of Kolkata. People of all age groups gathered at important landmarks of the east Indian city to demand justice for the victim.
