Plastic pollution clogs hydropower dam in DR Congo
Almost as far as the eye can see trash spreads out across the southern end of the majestic lake kivu lapping against the dam that crosses it, it lies on the border between the democratic republic of the congo and Rwanda. However, the ocean of plastic now threatens to clog up the dam's hydroelectric plant.
