Pakistan: Shia-Sunni Factions Agree to Ceasefire After 3 Days of Clashes | Explained

Pakistani announced a seven-day truce between rival sectarian groups after three days of violent clashes killed over 60 people in Kurram district. The violence was triggered on Thursday after gunmen attacked civilian vehicles, killing at least 40 people, who mainly were Shia Muslims. In retaliation, residents in the area of Kurram targeted Sunni Muslims.
