Nine people arrested in Beirut gunfight
In one of the worst violence seen in decades, the Lebanese capital had turned into a war zone for almost four hours. Nine people have been arrested in the gunfight in Beirut. Army tanks have rolled in. Ambulance sirens were wailing across the city and evacuations were carried out by police and civilians. All this, after gunshots were fired at protesters demonstrating outside the city's palace of justice.
