For the first time, Hindu pilgrims on Thursday (October 3) witnessed the sacred Kailash peak, the abode of Lord Shiva, from Indian territory instead of Tibet. The viewpoint is located at the Old Lipulekh Pass in the Vyas Valley of Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, which holds significant religious importance.
