Meta has filed a patent for AI technology capable of simulating users on its platforms, allowing posts, messages, and even voice interactions when a user is inactive or deceased. The AI could replicate online behavior, chat patterns, and social media activity, essentially creating a digital afterlife presence. While Meta states there are no immediate plans to launch this feature.
