Kenyan authorities have recovered five more bodies in shallow graves near Malindi, Kilifi County, at a site linked to a suspected religious cult. The area is close to the infamous Shakahola Forest, where over 400 cult-related deaths were reported in 2023. Officials suspect the victims were starved or suffocated due to extreme religious practices. Investigations continue, with 11 suspects under scrutiny as fears grow over missing children in the region.
