J&K terror encounter: Army soldier killed during gunfight in Udhampur, search operation underway

One Indian Army soldier has been killed in an ongoing operation in Basantgarh area of Udhampur district. The operation started early today morning with security forces receiving inputs about the presence of three to four terrorists in the area after which a cordon and search operation was launched and during the search operation, terrorists fired on security forces resulting in the injury of one Indian army soldier who later succumbed to his injuries.
