Jellyfish swarm forces shutdown at France’s largest nuclear power plant

A massive swarm of jellyfish has forced the shutdown of four reactors at the Gravelines Nuclear Power Station in northern France. According to operator EDF, the jellyfish clogged the pumping station filters, triggering automatic safety protocols. While no damage or risk was reported, the event highlights how marine life and rising sea temperatures can disrupt even the most advanced infrastructure.
