At least three people have been killed and six others injured in Israeli airstrikes near the Lebanese capital, according to local health authorities.
The strikes targeted areas close to the airport highway in Beirut, with the Israel Defense Forces confirming it carried out two separate air raids in the area.
Lebanon’s health ministry said the casualties were reported after the attacks hit the vicinity of the main road leading to Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport.
