The newly-public, trump media & technology group, the company behind the social media platform Truth Social, began trading on the Nasdaq today. Its shares surged more than 16.1% on Tuesday, closing at $57.99 per shares on its debut. Recently, trump media merged with a blank-check company, Digital World Acquisition Corp, to go public. At one point, the company's market capitalization stood at 9.25 billion dollars on an undiluted basis.
