Instagram Chats May No Longer Be Private After Meta Ends Encryption

In a blow to privacy, Meta ended end-to-end encryption on Instagram. At present, this is the default option on platforms like Signal, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Owing to Meta's move, all content of direct messages on Instagram can be accessed by the platform now.
