As a goodwill gesture, Nepal has shared with India, some of its ancient rocks, unique gems and precious stones known as the Shaligram. Believed to be more precious than gold and silver, the Shaligram will be used for the construction of a majestic idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The faithful celebrated the occasion with rituals and song & dance.
